One thing could make this variant interesting is by playing Energy Switch and you can make a Greninja play out of nowhere
Exactly what I was thinking. Even 1 in the deck you could "pre-load" Greninja then attach later and energy switch
that's one of the few advantages of a Walking Wake ex deck

Wish it didn't cap at 180, would be nice if it wasnt capped as a great 1 prizer. But this just leaves it as pult bait and iron hands judy deletes it.
That or it was similar to the ex as its attack
How about the new brute bonnet? With a couple of dark patch you can hit with it after the first attack of a roaring moon (that will die either ways in the opponent's turn) it can do Damage counters*50 dmage
If you set up properly you can pivot with a greninja/flutter and a rescue board

This is pretty much the deck I'm playing currently, I just haven't put any TWM in it yet
In a dark deck maybe but its kinda a useless early attack
Kieran is seeing some play in Japanese lists and i like it a lot. you can switch your Koraidon or Great Tusk out of the active with it and get an extra 30 damage, which is why the list ran Coballion in the past. You run the palpad too so you can get it back if needed.

That’s why I personally like Fezandipiti with Gardevoir. The damage potential isn’t bad and it can buy you turns against single prize decks. I assume people just don’t even look at it since it’s flippy but it isn’t that hard to recover anyway
I love Walking Wake 💙 one of my top favorite Pokemon from Scarlet and Violet. I'm hoping to make a Walking Wake deck when i get enough coins in PTCGL
i think that maybe roaring moon EX might be a good inclusion as it deals with 2 prizers easier but the only problem is the walking wake is also a 3 energy attacker
I was actually thinking of adding Okidogi to the Koraidon version of this deck because most of the energy is there already.
Doesnt walking wake get destroyed by hands tho

Turbo Hands has always had a good matchup against ancient box as a whole. But that deck has fallen off in popularity recently, so it doesn't matter much.
Also, you can just not play walking wake in that matchup. Discard it lol
@pokezod7832 dragapult does beat ancient box, but we don't care. There are a couple of decks that eat dragapult for breakfast such as Miraidon, Lugia, Ragingbolt/Ogrepon, and probably some others. Having a meta where dragapult can be countered pretty easily allows Ancient to thrive still and prey on Dragapults counters.
Dragapult has been overhyped. It's pretty good, easily a Tier 1 deck, but it's kinda slow from what I have seen.
@@aS__Spencer as a future box player koraidon with a capsule is pretty hard to one shot with amp and usually forces a single price knockout. Which gives the ancient box player some momentum
Walking wake is not bad, but if you encounter an electric pokemon in game, the ancient pokemon will have a hard time.

Interesting idea. I might try this, as I feel you don't get a ton of value from Ancient Drum right now, and this deck always loves more discard.

How do you think roaring moon dudunsparce can evolve with the new set, even though it’s probably not as good as ancient box
I think the decks still decent, dragapult matchup seems sketchy & you probably need to play temple for lugia
Dragapult just destroys it if you run the free retreat Dunsparce, but if you don't run free retreat Dunsparce you lose one of the greatest benefits of the deck, which is always having a pivot on hand.
Hi i have a question related to Pokémon tcg, is the item card professor’s letter from XY banned in the tcg, cause it easily searches 2 energies, better than energy search and earthen vessel, so why is no one using professor’s letter?

Double moon is just better than this. Having an easy ko against 300+ hp decks is a must. Plus you should be playing secret box as the ace spec. Baby wake is just not good enough.
Even with your video, walking wake looks really weak and useless.
