Thanks for watching! Also, at 4:50, one of my old text plug-ins accidentally put in text from the Warlock video. Sorry! Also, if you have video of using Levi’s breath at 280+ fps, please let me know! LAMENT NOTES: Why do I use this combo? (Light X4 then Heavy) Because the fact that your window is LIMITED for damage, you have to output as much as possible. I tried the Light-Light-Heavy combo in testing, which on a boss with an longer damage phase is theoretically better, and I found it lacking, because 1) of the time you have to take to rev up to start the combo. 2) It's much for sensible to use the long combo, then do a few basic swipes, especially because you can KEEP outputting damage to heal (even the light attacks heal you.) 3) I also found that they tracking of the longer combo follows Ecthar MUCH better. 4) I often found myself accidentally doing normal attacks instead of the combo, because the activation of the short combo will stop as soon as you run out of energy. The long combo, you can extend.
All in All - Long combo is more forgiving in 99% of circumstances. IF you feel comfortable about hitting all your combos with Light-Light-Heavy, then go for it. There's more to a damage phase than just damage IMO(Movement/placement/hitting shots/swaps/enemies/health/etc) Also, for all those commenting, if you look at the build, I am using Lucent Blade! (I think a few of you did not notice! But then Again, I didn't draw a lot of attention to it, figuring people would use DIM links)

One thing I do for solo attempts on this dungeon is I have a few index cards w/ the hive runes drawn on them next to me on my desk, move them under my monitor when they're up. You can even leave them in the proper order off to the side for the second encounter in terms of rune locations for encounter #2, grab the three you need & place them under monitor, it'll also guide you to where the runes are located under water as there'll be a blank place where your index card was :)

@@candacewilliams5957 Did you get solo flawless? I gave up (temporarily...repeatedly) like 10 times already. I can't get through Ecthar effectively. I can get to the damage phase, two or three times but no significant damage, even w/ lament😒

@@timhammond908 I got my solo flawless on my literal second attempt on my Hunter, occasional solo GM attempts and running 80 solo Duality runs (back then before we power creep tf out of Caiatl) definitely helped me polish my knowledge of the game’s mechanics. I don’t think remembering the very specific symbol matters that much, since there’s only a couple few in the second encounter that you need to remember, to the point where you can basically recognize the symbol difference, while first and third encounter doesn’t really require that much symbol memorising either since again, it’s a pretty straightforward mechanic/puzzle. Unlike Vow of Disciple raid where you need to remember 6 different symbols and then take them apart and only remember three of them to then look for those specific symbol on the obelisk, which is a hustle compared to the symbol mechanic in GoTD, the same kinda goes with Duality. For VoW, I would write down the shortform version of the symbol’s name in the chat, maybe you can do with GoTD, usually you’ll just get over with it and stop doing all that writing down, since again, the symbol mechanic in GoTD is not too specific.
just a note for anyone using liars handshake with a 1-2 punch shotgun, your loop needs to be : shotgun>melee>melee>shotgun , if you use your shotgun after the first melee your next melee with cross counter, will do much less damage
Finally. A new dungeon walkthrough where I don’t have to use solar titan. I main a hunter class so this is a awesomely helpful.

Hey just came to give you some more tips for the final boss: tip 1: towards the right leg of Oryx at the right edge of the map you will find a little ledge that you can hide at to survive( just be sure to watch out for grenades) Tip 2: not sure that this applies to everyone but in my encounter I noticed that after every other damage phase, the boss will just forget to spawn the moths in until after you kill the sword knight.
It's interesting as there are multiple things that can keep the moths from spawning. The moths ONLY spawn after you kill the sword knight (And she spawns another) but at this point, I'm not really worrying about the moths AT ALL. I stopped thinking about them entirely with the Warlock and Hunter build. The only class I'd actively worry about them is TItan.
Thanks for making this video! I honestly wasn't sure about how in the world I was going to solo this dungeon, until I found your video. You took the daunting aspect of a whole dungeon and helped break it down to easy steps I could focus on.. And thanks to that, I got my first ever, solo dungeon completion!

Great guide. I did my solo flawless on Hunter last week, following similar strats. Couple of things I did different on the 2nd boss were:
1. Had Star Eaters equipped, instead of Liar's (combination blow provided enough healing to stay alive, and 1-2 punch shotty made it just as easy to quickly kill the lucent hive, so the extra 70% super damage was more valuable IMO).
For any console players opting to go with the quick swap...
2. Save your DPS loadout (aka your 'swap to' loadout) in Slot 1, and save your normal add-clear loadout in Slot 2 or 3. The reason is because when you open your loadout menu, your cursor's position will ALWAYS default to Slot 1. So, setting it there will save you some time from moving it to some other position. Similarly, saving your add-clear loadout to slot 2 or 3 will help you efficiently swap back once DPS is over.
3. (Also for the swap method...) Don't need a bi-pod rocket if you're going with Lament strat. Just have any legendary sword equipped, and when you swap to your Lament loadout, you'll pretty much retain all of your sword ammo, since you swapped to a same weapon type.
4. Lastly...for add clear phases, in addition to Arby, have another special ammo weapon equipped in your energy weapon slot (preferably 1-2 punch shotty. I used Xenoclast). This will allow you to get a TON of heavy ammo bricks to drop, so you can top your heavy ammo back off, after every DPS phase (you won't be using prinary/secondary weapons much, if at all, anyway, since you're just gonna be punching everything to death).
Nice going to try the Star Eaters for more damage on boss

Not the typical Solar Titan hammer throwing BS going everywhere!
For the last boss fight, I always did all my damage from the corner by Oryx’s left foot. Doesn’t matter where you dunked; hit the boss with 1 arbalest shot and beeline for the foot.
In that spot, you have excellent cover from the boss and any adds that are around, and I actually often did more damage that way because I didn’t need to hide from the boss’s attacks. There’s also a water cave right there which is an excellent panic room in an emergency. I also didn’t have issues with ammo, but that’s because I was using Taipan instead of Leviathan’s.
I also really liked swapping to Star Eaters just before damage, partially for the extra super damage, but also for the extra survivability: it gives you an overshield when you super.

Great video, I'm a hunter main but I only play solar with young ahamkara and gunpowder and I'm trying so hard to do this new dungeon in flawless, my only problem is the final boss when u need to touch the black cloud that I forgot the name but is a mechanic of the encounter, anyways I love to watch this kind of videos but I'm to stupid to play other elements, my new objective is beating this dungeon without killing my self with the gunpowder

I would also use power attraction, heavy handed, and one of the healing mods on legs when picking up orbs. I'm thinking it would go great with the dodge-punch combo.

I've found the hardest part of the dungeon by far is maintaining connection long enough to not get weaseled or anteater and lose all your ammo.

It’s not the easiest to get but I really like using Legend of Acrius in the first boss fight. Easy to use with liars handshake
Small little note for Assassin Cowl usage here: going invis actually modifies the moth behavior in the final encounter. If you are invis when she summons the moths, they will actively disengage suicide bombing you and instead fly to adds to buff them like their normal behavior in other areas of the game. In my runs, I had no trouble with the moths because of this since I was invis for a lot of the encounter.
You can also just stand far away when she spawns them and if there are enough ads around her they’ll just do that automatically, makes dealing with them a lot easier
Invis isn't the cause of that if you're using Assassin's Cowl. A change was made a few seasons back that DODGING broke enemy tracking. That's why you see them actively disengaging you.

Great video as always. Got this done didnt use any loadout swaps as i dont have bipod rocket. Used super and lament for ecthar and arbie and trackijg rockets for final boss. Few extra damage phases but not too bad.
Good stuff, totally understandable for not having bipod. The goal of the vids is to show how folks can get it done, ever if they don't have the top of the top of the line gear! Congrats!

If you’re a Hunter just switch to void with Omnioculus and run past all the jumping sections, no need to fight anyone
You do have to fight the enemies in the first area. Also, the fact that you can just punch, and go invis, it’s basically the same. When I do my runs, I just run past it all, but wanted to show what players might do when they’re running to be safe
What class do you think is best for solo? The arc hunter?

The Braytech Osprey is a nightfall weapon so only obtainable when it’s the featured weapon for the nightfalls. (I could be wrong) You can also get the adept version in GMs.
You can get it from any nightfall. (I think it’s available next week, I could be wrong)

I am trying the "trick" with the bipod rocket for getting extra reserves in a hot swap to a different heavy weapon, but i see no difference. I get the same ammo whenever i use a normal or a bipod rocket after switching.

Great video, l have used a lot of it. But "easy" maybe for you. It is still impossible on PS5 (i can't swicth loadouts fast) so on Echtar after 5 or 6 hours i got past him with dual shotgun and tactor (Arc Hunter) . But after 10+ hours on Summm.. the final boss... i hardly do any damage with any weapon (Arc Hunter & liars handshake), masterworked the Leviathan breath but miss too many shots, the i went on stormchaser 15k per shot (45k for 3 shots) on stormchaser, i once got to 7M damage in 5 rounds... them i obviously die from something silly... I give up. Thinking about sharing gameplay just to make a video called "See how no-one can do Ghost of the deep not easily" 16+ hours of video.... :(

Solo flawless is cool, but I’m only going for the solo for rank 11, the dungeon is always the thing that kills me. That and rarely running the dungeon

When i Switch to lament, the ammo is far less than in his video. And I switch from osprey rocket launcher -.-
Consoles don't load fast enough to switch loadouts like that on Ecthar... I tried it but kept dying to all the boomers. Is ther another weapon (energy) that I can pair with Lament to take down his shield?
2 things: 1) you can choose to just use a legendary sword like falling guilltoine to rip the shield off
2) if you can invest in a cheap SSD drive and use it for your storage on D2, loading times will be come much much faster. I did that before I moved to pc.
When I switch my osprey rocket launcher to lament I got only 29 ammo. Is it nerfed?

Not a shader - it’s just the dawning armor from like 2 years ago. I think it looks like fire!

Titan is BY FAR the easiest, then Hunter, then Warlock

@@TheManoDestra, on controller titan is super frustrating if you have twitchy reflexes and your hammer sails off a cliff without having roaring flames.
Can you use oathkeeper for more dps in dps phase at final boss?
Slightly more, (like .1%) if you wanted to switch exotics, it’d be better to go star eater scales IMO

Honestly, Warlock Spire over the last few seasons was boring AF - Starfire, Rockets/Linear, win. This season, I will revisit it, when I get some time, as Warlocks are actually interesting to play again!

Can you please tell me why your using heavy ammo scout doesn't that make ammo bricks for teammates whenever finder makes a brick at least what it says plus your running dbl special makes a ton of bricks
Probably switched from finder by accident. Also, dbl special is good, but isn’t always consistent
Why do you take such little damage?
If you are doing this on console and replicate their loadout you will still take far more damage as they are doing it on pc. Same for doing damage with exactly the same guns.

@@nightfuryzero6625 I have a video FOR EVERY Class. This is the thing that I always say - If you're not willing to try/practice/or use the tips, then that's on you. But geniuely many people have used these guides and have gotten it done, even though they thought they might not.
That's the definition of taking up the challenge. I cannot do that for you. I can only lead a horse to water.
Also, YT is a fickle beast. When I say "anyone" I mean anyone willing to take the challenge on, practice, and change their behavior.
