Can't help but thinking that the winter holidays are just around the corner and any crocheter needs a quick and easy stitch for those gifts - blankets, scarves, table runners, garments, etc. Also, this one looks great as in solid color, as well as multicolored (especially if you have left-over yarn you've been needing to use up). What would you make using this stitch?

Thanks for sharing a lovely version of an old standard. Some people don't want too much lace, so this gives an interesting combination with less gaps. It's pretty!
