Everyone knows continuity doesn't matter. The most important things in filmmaking in order are 1. Nudity 2. Explosions 3. Gunfights 4. Kung fu 5. Lighting 6. Story. Continuity isn't even in the top 5.
2:40 in Gladiator, I guess that is a remnant of the days of the film and maybe limited post production intervention? Considering that for example that was a historical movie the gas tank and gauges can ridicule the film these days would be removed via some software work, but say something like the tattoo that changes sides is more of a lack of attention from the person who applied the tattoo digitally, assuming that during shooting there was no tattoo at all and only added in post production, at least I am trying to differentiate these issues as much as possible.
Sir, you actually have a continuity issue, in the scene where you pointed out the script supervisor, you pointed to the guy holding the script standing up, but the script supervisor is actually the woman sitting to the left of the director (camera left) with the stop watch in her left and the script in the lap. The stop watch is a dead give away because timing the scene is also a duty of the script supervisor so they always have a stop watch nearby. The movie you picked was set in the golden time of Hollywood, a time when men weren’t allowed to be script supervisor, they were called continuity girls, later scriptys and finally script supervisor

The starbucks coffee cup in Game of Thrones was kinda a big one, seeing as it was in such a clearly visible location in the shot and everyone there should have seen it.
This is one of the reasons I don't rewatch lot of stuff nowadays. I can't turn off the ability to notice the tiniest continuity errors between wides and close ups.
What ? Tik tok holding people's attention for hours? Thier videos are merely one minutes lol.. and those same people who can't sit through 90 min film is cuz they have low attention span... They need something to pop up in 20 seconds like in tik tok lop
@@abdulsameeh_666 right if you watch 120 videos that would be 2 hours. Tiktok was designed to be incredibly addictive. Which kind of makes me want to make an experimental film that is made up of 1 minutes clips that have nothing to do with each other.
@@yeahrightbear8883 dude it's about content , in tik tok a content last for 1min mostly and next video has nothing to do with each other where a movie is a visual story told using lot of themes , message etc etc, which is one content for 2 hours ... Nailed it! 😄
Wo-wow, slow down!
Boobs are 1 and 2, not sure why you tried to condense it into 1 slot.
7. Shakey ass camera during the action scene

3:40 - You illustrated your point by the one thing the internet utterly blew up about... well done.
Every moment is happening at the same time. Continuity is an illusion.
Even Kubrick had a few continuity errors... meaning it's basically _impossible_ not to have the occasional error lol
There's errors, and there's not caring or even looking back at what you once made to follow through.

Another great study sir, thank yew
Crew visible is a goof.
Thank you so much!
at least he has no continuity issue with continuity pronunciation
I wasn’t gonna say anything; we get the general gist of it, I guess. 😂
The MCU has proven to me that continuity matters.
Every moment is happening at the same time. Continuity is an illusion.
I mean, Doctor Octavious could have been from another another timeline... it was a multiverse.
Good stuff….again!

They’re actually like little Easter eggs.
First start with story narrative and script continuity. Then work your way down from there.
Great
2:59 lmao based
🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥💯
Audiences don't care that much about continuity. Bad acting and bad sound are another matter.
Constantly pointing out goofs and visible crew members while talking about continuity makes me crazy.
I managed to watch the whole video despite the booooring voice of the narrator.
go buy a microphone dude
