The fact that Mumbo went looking for Scar to prevent him losing hearts only to IMMEDIATELY hear him say “Ohh I just lost a chunk of hearts! I can’t keep a heart for the life of me!” LIKE THAT IS SO SPECIFIC it’s like a comedic irony line in a cartoon!
And yet, this being Scar, sounds like something you might expect to hear him say at any time.
All while being on a MC Echer staircase really ties the moment together
Some absolutely killer perfect timings this season. Like Grian’s decree followed by the end portal opening sound.
Tbh when Scar said he lost a heart and a half like 5 minutes into the session, that was a clear sign that Mumbo should've rolled for a harder task.

I mean let's be fair, when the alternative was "try and keep Scar from losing hearts", the rerolled hard task could've been to build a perfect sphere in Minecraft and it would still have been easier. At least that he probably could've found some way to break Minecraft enough to do it.

Rewatching this, and I think it's a little funny that Scar got told to "get good" and must have taken that advice to heart.

Okay, the facial expressions were *spot on*! I loved them all. I was about to say that the ones of agony at the beginning were my favorite, but then I saw the animation of Scar's face during the confrontation about the task and Mumbo's one of anxiety and I was like "OOOOH".

All the expressions are drawn so well and fit their characters beautifully! Also gotta appreciate the little Bdubs walking around in the background in the end there too.
