  • A group of 4 travels just to just south of the Arctic Circle to Yellowknife, Canada. Although they went for the northern lights, they found there a lot more to offer than just a night sky. From Dog Sledding, to Ice Castles, to Frozen Waterfalls, we explore all of what the Northwest territories have to offer.
Correction: I incorrectly state that this in Inuit territory when it is actually First Nation territory (Dene). Sorry for the mistake.
    Filmed in 2016.

This came across my radar today and I think you did a great job, but you needed to some fact checking. The Inuit don’t live in Yellowknife. This is Dene country. The Inuit are further north and east. But nice job an representing what we have going on here.

Yellowknife is a shit town. Expensive, alcohol, drug-addled, brutally cold in the winter, mosquito infested in the summer, extremely overpriced and above all, unfriendly. One of the happiest days of my life was my last flight out of that place.
