Great idea Josh! Cheap, easy and anyone can build these with a hand saw if that's all they got. Could even raid a construction site off-cut pile. I got a couple bins of off-cuts sitting around. If the glue doesn't hold on the velcro, could slam a bunch of staples thought it. 👍
Starting with nothing, I don’t have one but the new redcat ascent is pretty much unbeatable at $100, if they’re still selling for that price. As far as RTR goes, pretty rad.
Cost a whole lot more money. This can be made for $20, basically. The whole point is to be as inclusive as possible. This Velcro isn’t hard and works just fine. Thanks for the suggestion, though.

MOFO nanobam 1.2. Best brushless motor available for a performer on scx axles, no question. Ultra smooth. Super slow. Loads of torque. No weight penalty (less than 050 brushed). Badass.
Love this idea for a modular course
Genius! Definitely gonna make some!
That’s an awesome idea! Nice tabletop testing course.
Get on it Brian!🤣

Take that wood and build me a workbench! I'll trade you for all the free rocks in my yard 😂
Not gonna be much of a workbench out of a single 2x4 and some Velcro. Might take a little imagination when I’m done? Aahahahahaha
@@texomarc I was thinking about making a workbench out of an old door but it would be too wobbly.
Bro! Dual Lock!! It’s fuzzy and hard! At the same time!

You could save yourself a whole lot of brain fatigue and eliminate all of the issues with velcro by just using 3M dual lock instead of velcro.

At a little big for the table.
A lot less likely to piss of the wife than bringing rocks and bricks into the house.
