★STORY↓
Alien Temperor, who plans to destroy the Land of Ultra, was preparing to attack. However, it finds out the 5 Ultra Brothers were already heading to Earth after being invited by Ultraman Taro, and decides to follow them. Alien Temperor begins destroying the town as soon as it arrives on Earth to lure out the Ultra Brothers.

The one and only gathering of the original six Ultra Brothers/hosts 🥺🥺 It's become an even more legendary episode now, with the passing of Jiro Dan...
It's a great episode giving insight into the different characters of the Ultra Brothers! You can also see the differences in thinking between the older and younger Ultras.
I especially love the strong bond between Ace and Taro - Ace is the first and most affected by Taro's cries for help 🥺🥺 (of course, he's also the one who gets the most mad and wants to punch him in the next episode!) It's a wonderful family/sibling feeling!! 💖💖
Jack/Goh is the calm middle child who mediates between the younger and older halves. He has both compassion for Taro but also seeks to reason with his brothers. Seven, Man, and Zoffy are more serious, seeing the longer-term issues in Taro's behaviour and wanting to guide him, even at great risk (well, that seems to be the standard child-raising playbook in the Land of Light!).

Alien Temperor's ship is easily the most adorable one I have seen in tokusatsu XD
That Ultra Brothers getup is _très chic_
And man, they wasted no time starting a funeral o_O
So Ultra-fantastic! Wow, Alien Temperor is incredibly strong Seijin, i so impress. I like the Seijin that not too much depends on Kaiju to conquer earth 😊. NANI, Alien Temperor is still ALIVE? Seems like Alien Temperor will reappear in episode 34, Alien Temperor is full of tricks. Cannot wait to watch 6 Ultra Brothers fight Alien Temperor, keep forward Ultraman Taro 🤗!

이 스토리는 타로 전편중 설정상 타로가 절대 혼자 이길수없는 템페라성인 이라는 아주강한악당이 등장했다는것 이것만으로도 엄청 임펙트 있었죠😊😊

Alien Temperor is depicted in this episode as a strong opponent. But years later, he would be shamefully defeated by Mebius, Taro's disciple. The reactions of the Ultra Brothers in this episode would be very alike in Mebius movie, too. And now it was proved Antman could defeat Thanos after all...
Alien Temperor had many tentative names. The first was Alien Bulton and then was renamed to Alien Emperor. But these names were already been used, so they came up with "Temperor".
The monkey toy was not in the original script. It was an item sold at the time to cheer up students in their entrance exams. The director saw one and thought "if such a thing can make them be approved, it could dominate the universe as well". So he came up with the toy being the commander of the Alien Temperors.
That sounds a very euphemistic way of saying "man, people think this creepy toy would make people feel more confident to be approved in their exams? Sounds more like something to give them nightmares. Know what? Let's put it in the show in the role it truly fits"

I wonder if Asahina was still around, would they simply have him being taken over by Zoffy and the professor character would simply not be necessary at all? Also, if Minami wasn't written out, would you have seen her with Hokuto here? Or would they come out with something else?
Anyway, Taro's character felt a bit... Off here. At this point, I felt Ace's got more help from his brothers than Taro ever did. Not to mention that the previous baddie Taro faced were far tougher. Feels like Taro suddenly wimped out for no good reason at all.

Seems like Taro is the series where regular side casts frequently change/written out
Taro is the Max of the Showa era
It's pretty interesting to me that Taro's "wimping out" / growth arc here takes place in episode 30s, more than halfway through his series.
I like to interpret it as not about receiving help, but about Taro's mindset. Taro can (and has been) fighting very well when on his own. But once he knew his brothers were around, he defaulted to being the "spoiled youngest" relying on their help without giving his best, which is what Zoffy was trying to address.
(I can't tell if it's on purpose but someone pointed out Taro started asking for help even before his timer started blinking 😂😂 Ace got a lot of help from his brothers but it was usually after giving his all for the fight.)
It is the first time that Ultraman grows inside a Kaiju.

I wonder why during 1973-1974 Where Ultraman Taro shines He doesn't give Captain Asahina much of a role at all despite being the head of the Earth Protection Unit, but if we count, he only appears in 12 episodes.
