    This may be stupid to ask but if it’s just the master cylinder bad do you need to replace the slave cylinder as well or will the stock one still work fine with the new master cylinder.

      Nope, you can do one at a time. In my case, my Master Cylinder was the problem, but I did them both at the same time because I got a discount buying both. (As in, buying online at O'Reilly and shipping to home with free shipping was cheaper than buying at the counter.) That being said, I still have the original slave cylinder saved just in case since it looked fine to me when I took it off.

    Curious how to bleed clutch line as I have replace the soft line, any suggestion?

      Hi, I did what's called a gravity bleed, where I opened up the bleed valve on the slave cylinder while I slowly topped off clutch fluid reservoir. There are some generic short videos on RUclips that show that, so I didn't cover it here. It can be messy... have some rags handy. But if you're just replacing the rubber line between the master cylinder and the reservoir, you may get lucky and have the air just go up into the reservoir once you hook it back up.

      @@MountainDesertFarm Thanks for your promptly reply, lucky I have got it fixed yesterday, good to know I am not alone on old cars, mine is Mazda GLX which is 24 years old.
