There is 8 members but during previous comeback and this one, main rapper MINGI was still on hiatus recovery from anxiety issues taking care of this mental health which is why HONGJOONG covered his rapping parts. He made his return during their preparations of their following comeback DEJA VU.

I found BTS in 2017 🤯😳🫡 … That was my introduction to kpop.. But Ateez is the only other group that I was interested in and that I saw from the debut and on.
They are also one of the first major kpop act, other than Eric Nam that performed in Denmark. I went to both concerts - and I do not think that I can explain how wild that was. Our small country! Both, Amazing in very different ways. Eric with his funny ted talks, sexiness, charm and charisma. And then Ateez, the crazy performers.
Even just having a lightstick and using it at Ateez concert - that was a whole new experience and FUN interaction!

You were right about the sea shanty-like feel of the song -- a lot of ATEEZ's biggest title tracks have a sea shanty-like melodic line integrated in them (check out ANSWER, Turbulence, and WAVE for good examples). And yes, many of us ATINYs agree that Seonghwa is the First Mate of the good ship ATEEZ, and the fact that he shoots the Kraken and also stands in the center of the lower deck at the end of this performance kind of supports that idea (along with the fact that he is Hongjoong's "left side," as HJ has said, meaning the one closest to his heart/trust).

i feel such pride when i see people react to their kingdom performances. like being very unbiased here, i have watched everyone's performance and they were all AMAZING !! but the acts and presence that was put out by Ateez has went far over the roof! brilliancy

The actual song title is: Symphony No. 9 "From the Wonderland", because it uses Dvořák's Symphony No. 9 "From the New World" as the orchestral basis (the pirate-y score) for creating a remixed adaptation of their song "Wonderland". I'm not sure if you noticed, but the rolled-up scroll on the desk had "From the New World" on it, visibly giving credit to Dvořák's work.
One thing I find interesting about this performance is how it ties into future works. The theme for this round was "To the World" (meaning the show told the groups to create performances to send their chosen message to the world), ATEEZ used "From the New World" in creating this; in 2022, they released "The World EP. 1: Movement", which has "New World" as the final track. I thought that was pretty cool, so had to share.
A few comments about his reaction specifically ~
"That's just creepy..." (now let him run it back to see it again, lol) Yes, bonebreakers are kinda creepy, but it worked really well to use them as the skeleton enemies.
Royal Seonghwa. I think most of us could see that one.
Mad respect for immediately correcting yourself and referring to our Hongjoong by his proper title of Captain.
They did have a cannon in the beginning, but it was a prop rather than being anything functional, so there wasn't an "effect" just an "appearance".
I love ATEEZ and wish they would have had the fan-base necessary to win K:LW at that time, but SKZ also slayed and the friendship between ATEEZ, SKZ, and BTOB was beautiful to watch.
* Ashley, you need to go ahead and show him the ATEEZ stages vs the Stray Kids stages on K:LW, because he will fully flip out over them all.
If Jake goes pirate-mode, he should dye his hair to match Captain in the official "Wonderland" MV.
Also, since it was briefly discussed in the beginning of the video ~
"Guerilla" isn't just a term for physical warfare, it also refers to hijacked (or pirated 😉) media. This might be done through taking over radio signals or broadcast stations, distributing information about their cause using flyers (and such), etc. In the official MV, we see examples of both types of guerilla action - the zeppelin that crashes down has obviously been sabotaged (we can assume it's due to the resistance, and may well have required fighting to accomplish), they successfully take over another blimp and use it to distribute flyers, and they clearly take over the broadcasting which allows their music to be heard both in classrooms and in the city. I didn't see other comments about it, so figured I'd offer thoughts.
