You may know this already, but 2 of the members of BTOB (Changsub, wearing orange, and Hyunsik, just to the left of him in a white shirt) were given singing lessons from a member of a group called Big Mama. Big Mama debuted in 2003 exclusively as a vocal group, they don't dance. They're known as Professor-dols, because all of the members are vocal coaches and/or professors at various universities in South Korea. They have their own Killing Voice! It's absolutely amazing, with top-tier vocal skills and harmonies. They've been at this for a while, and they still sound absolutely amazing. I hope you watch it. 😄
BTOB and Mamamoo are also known as the male and female versions of each other, and the members are friends with each other, Changsub and Solar in particular. They're both amazing in energy and vocals.
BTOB have amazing solo work, and Sungjae, the member Nia liked, is also an accomplished actor alongside his own solo stuff. Hyunsik is also know as "The Father of BTOB's Music." Also, if the audio sounds a little off in the Killing Voice, Dingo had to come out with a statement apologizing for it sounding weird because BTOB were so loud that they had to adjust the way they sounded lol.
Mr. Tie(Hyunsik) and Mr. Orange(Changsub) are my favourites in BTOB also Mr. Tie is the mastermind behind most of their iconic songs he writes for the group.
Their fan name is Melody.. and BTOB Stand for Born to Beat and every beat needs a Melody🩵🩵🩵🥰
BTOB is currently doing a mini tour in Southeast Asia. They left their original company (Cube Entertainment) after 11 years and started their own company (BTOB Company) late last year. They just had their 12th debut anniversary (March 21). They have said they are working on trying to put together a world tour and they will keep us updated.
There is a reason why all Melody said that they truly wished that the whole group had competed because the results might have been a little different.

41:20 Actually, Eunkwang (3rd from the left) has said that he grew up singing in the church. His mom isn't a professional singer, but she's been part of the church choir since he was young. They have an amazing performance together on the show Immortal Songs, which you can find on youtube. It's breathtaking 💙

Minhyuk: Main Rapper now. He also does vocals in a couple of songs. His vocal range improved greatly and that can be seen when they were Btob4U. Also wrote and composed a couple of btob songs
Sungjae: Lead Vocal. Actor and singer. Hyunsik even said, that he improved his singing greatly after his military service.
Eunkwang: aka SilverLight. Main Vocal. Leader of Btob. He has range for days. Known for being one of the best leaders in K-pop industry also one of the youngest to be a Director status when btob was under Cube.
Hyunsik: LV. known as the godfather of Btob songs. He’s created most of the btob songs. Also he has range bar none. Can go from deep or high pitch.
Changsub: LV. Has a crazy range in his voice that probably has the best emotion in the group. Perfect for both slow and ballad songs.
Peniel: Rapper. His voice compliments other rappers and vocals being very light and in addition to his fluent English adds flare and style in btob songs.
Ilhoon: ex Main Rapper. Complimented throughout the industry for being one of the rapping geniuses. Unfortunately he is no longer with btob. But when he was, his soft rapping voice and crazy rhythm brings Btob in their prime and found their footing. He also made the Melody name. And also writes a lot of btob songs when he was with them.

During Kingdom, they only have 2 singers and 2 rappers, and none of them agreed to perform the song due to the high notes that were supposed to be carried by 4 main vocalists. Even Changsub was surprised that Straykidz was singing it in the original key.

Most of the songs you hear here are written by the members Hyunsik and Minhyuk. I heard them live and it is an experience… they are better in person and their stage presence is fun. Killing voice admitted that they had to do something in post because they didn’t anticipate how loud and complex their vocal layering live would be that the members voices are bleeding to the other members’ mics. 😂

Love me some BtoB! They are definitely underrated. You guys should also check out Mamamoo's Killing Voice. They're the reason why we have killing voice. The guy in the orange stripe sweater and one of the girls from Mamamoo did a musical together a couple years ago. Some people refer to Mamamoo and BtoB and the vocal king and queens.

Last april 7 i attended a BTOB concert, im telling you if you love vocals its a flex, seriously i still can't believe that i heard them live...no lipsync all live... Even when they are jumping up and down its freakin live... I have a profound love for BTOB. There are only 2 kpop groups that hold a special place in my heart. That is SHINee and BTOB. Both these groups are beyond amazing. Unique voices, range, crazy and rich harmonies, and emotion.

They have an Asia Tour rn. Philippines was their first stop, and I got to see and hear them live. I spent crying every song they sang (they sound so good live istg) and at the same time staring at Peniel the whole time. Pictures doesnt do him justice with how attractive he is in person. 😭😭

BTOB Sungjae is In many K- dramas most popular one is GOBLIN.
The guy that you said has range and that they use him when they need range, he actually uses himself since he wrote most of these songs.

They’re legend. They might not be as populat internationally, but they’re the top in korea.
They’re well known for the vocal.
And they also not the typical idol 😅. They really just being themselves and dont really conform to the korean standard of “idol”.
But too bad the former member “ilhoon” had to leave the group.
Ilhoon is one of the best rapper in kpop to this date. And he’s a good producer as well.
