The tree of life resides in the mouth of the prophets, and the tree of evil in the law.
Pro 15:4 - A wholesome tongue is a tree of life: but perverseness therein is a breach in the spirit.
Act 2:3 - And there appeared unto them cloven tongues like as of fire, and it sat upon each of them

sorry i got put my reply here coz for some reason YT wouldn't post it.
also you got to take into account the all the passages where Jesus and the apostles speaks of trees and plants bearing fruits as if they were people.
Luke 6:43-45: "For a good tree bringeth not forth corrupt fruit; neither doth a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit. For every tree is known by his own fruit".
Matthew 12:33: "Either make the tree good, and his fruit good; or else make the tree corrupt, and his fruit corrupt: for the tree is known by his fruit".
Psalm 128:3: "Your wife will be like a fruitful vine within your house; your children will be like olive shoots around your table".
Proverbs 3:18: "She is a tree of life to those who take hold of her; those who hold her fast will be blessed".
Revelation 2:7: "To the one who is victorious, I will give the right to eat from the tree of life, which is in the paradise of God"
this is all speaking as if its people being the trees that bear fruit and what do you do with fruit you EAT or CONSUME it and are FILLED with it and if its Good you bear more good fruit if its bad you become sick and die both physically and spiritually.
plus there's the incident of Jesus and the fig tree which he curses cos it has no fruit and he then explains that a tree that bears no fruit or bad fruit is good for nothing and will be cut down an burned. implying if we are such then we will go to hell.
and he also calls himself the way the truth and the LIFE. and he is also the Word of God and he is the Holy spirit. and if you wish to follow him then you are to be FILLED with both the Word and the spirit.
And what do we say when learn things either in school or via a book or on the internet or via the TV we say we are CONSUMING the information. the question is that information going to lead us to bear good fruit or bad fruit?
actually I will admit your half right that the laws are fruit of a tree BUT they are of the tree of LIFE (God) NOT of knowledge of good and evil.or if you wanna be more specific they are the roots and trunk of the tree and the fruit (life and its blessings) comes as a result of living according to the laws.
but you also got to take into account those laws were for e the Israelites at the time coz of their conditions of life. they don't apply for us today coz of the NEW covenant. we still have to obey the 10 commandments but the ceremonial laws no longer stand coz Christ fulfilled them on the cross.

The law isn’t of the tree of life.

Sorry the tree is the law.... but God said don't eat of that tree or you will die... but then God gave the law to Moses to give to the people to teach them how to live ... but also God was giving him the forbidden fruit which he said would kill us... so God is trying to teach us to live by killing us deliberately... but he then sent his son to die on a cross to save us from that death that HE GAVE US??... WHAT? this is such a load of baloney. it contradicts God and makes no sense what so ever. God did not make us with that sinful nature (If God is pure truth and goodness and he can do nothing evil coz his nature is pure goodness then he would not be able to make us with evil within us, and he would certainly not GIVE us that which he expressly said was forbidden, he only makes that which is good but we were made with freedom of choice) we only gained it AFTER Adam and Eve ate from the tree because we became permanently locked in that state of sin because of the lies told by SATAN.
The Tree is NOT The Law, its Lucifer and his sick twisted version of the law which you "consume", by listening to him, as Eve did, which is what leads to his sinful LIFESTYLE but its a messed up, twisted mix of truth AND LIES that he uses to keep you from the ABSOLUTE TRUTH (the real law) which leads you to death. Evil is the absence of Truth and Love, The other tree that they ignored, the Tree of Life was Gods Word (Jesus) and The TRUE Law and his teachings for a truly good proper lifestyle which gives you eternal life. as long as you do not twist it and pervert it as Lucifer wishes you to.
Its called good and evil coz Lucifer cannot break from the nature of what he was made to do which is to lead others in worship, but coz he's The ULTIMATE narcissist he twists it to be all about him but coz he has cut himself off from God and his "mantra" is do as thou wilt, its all evil hence why there is so much satanic worship in the world even when people don't realize that's what they are doing.

Yes. God gave the law to show us our sin, our sinful natures, and our impure intentions. so, That we know we need a savior.
The law doesn’t justify anyone. It only brings condemnation and death.

@@jdmorin9327 the law doesn't bring condemnation and death Sin does that. but your right that it highlights our sinful nature by showing our inability to fulfill it. which is why Christ came to fulfill the law. hence why he said "it is finished"

Romans 7:8-11 (KJV) 8 But sin, taking occasion by the commandment, wrought in me all manner of concupiscence. For without the law sin [was] dead. 9 For I was alive without the law once: but when the commandment came, sin revived, and I died. 10 And the commandment, which [was ordained] to life, I found [to be] unto death. 11 For sin, taking occasion by the commandment, deceived me, and by it slew [me].
2 Corinthians 3:6-11 (KJV) 6 Who also hath made us able ministers of the new testament; not of the letter, but of the spirit: for the letter killeth, but the spirit giveth life. 7 But if the ministration of death, written [and] engraven in stones, was glorious, so that the children of Israel could not stedfastly behold the face of Moses for the glory of his countenance; which [glory] was to be done away: 8 How shall not the ministration of the spirit be rather glorious? 9 For if the ministration of condemnation [be] glory, much more doth the ministration of righteousness exceed in glory. 10 For even that which was made glorious had no glory in this respect, by reason of the glory that excelleth. 11 For if that which is done away [was] glorious, much more that which remaineth [is] glorious.

@@jdmorin9327 ok this is a long one but try to follow.
Romans 7: that passage is speaking of how the people were in sin while they lived in the flesh, meaning letting their bodily desires control them and it unfortunately got harder once the law came in coz they are driven by their sinful nature to break the rules and thereby bear more forbidden fruit that leads to death.
eg If your in restaurant and someone tells you not to look coz someone they don't like walks through the door what do you do? you immediately turn round coz curiosity gets the better of you. so you sin by not following the command to not look and as result that person comes over and talks with your friend who was trying to avoid them and of course your friend get annoyed at you. that's BAD FRUIT. not the command to not look.
but anyway Its not saying that God gave us the forbidden fruit coz of course he doesn't want people to die, he wants us to live. but he had to give them the laws coz they were newly freed from a life of slavery in a desert with no rules of their own and so he had to give them rules to prevent them from returning to their old lifestyle habits of slavery.(remember they had been slaves for over 100 years by that point it was all they knew) and or turning to the rituals of the pagans surrounding them, which they didn't take long to do considering Moses was only up the mountain 40 days and they had already started worshiping an idol.
but God presented them with the law to show both how to live as I said but also to show how weak and sinful they were so that they would understand the need for a savior to save their spirits. this is why Christ teaches that we need to die to our FLESH. God has as of the moment of Christ's death wiped our sins and fulfilled the ceremonial laws which were such a burden coz the pharisees were making them so hard and coz the animal sacrifices weren't cutting it fully. they covered but they didn't clean the sin. so all we have to do now is trust in his word and teachings which are few and very simple.
      and as for 2 Corinthians
that's all about how God's Glory is so great that if it could even be seen in the face of Moses when he first brought the tablets with the laws down to the extent that they couldn't even look at him.
and so if thats how powerful Gods glory is then how much more did they NEED a savior whose glory would surpass that of the glory shining on Moses's face to complete the laws coz the laws are that glorious noone can fulfill them.
there's nothing there to indicate that the laws are the forbidden fruit.
forbidden fruit is what comes of breaking the rules. how do you break rules you DON'T LISTEN to the one telling you and you IGNORE them. you taste one you want more so you break another rule and another and another until YOU are a fully grown tree bearing bad fruit and the only thing your good for is to be cut down and thrown into a fire.

Wrong. Romans 7 talks about how we are naturally sinful and rebellious even as Christians.
2 Corinthians clearly says the law is the ministration of condemnation and death. If you ate from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil you are condemned to hell.
