After sound, power and appearance, there's also weight reduction. My ebay headers are 11 lbs lighter than OEM.

They sound amazing, 0-60 is down to 6.1 seconds. I uploaded a couple vids driving it.

The catalyst is e46 m54. I want to install bmw e60 M54. Is it the same ?will go without modification?
e60 m54 isnt good for tuning.

Do you need a tune after it before?
Don't neeeed it but gets the most power and can prevent ses/cel lights.
Does your engine light stay on because of not having cats?
Yeah but that's what a tune solves; you really need one to take advantage of the air flow.

What headers are they
where did you get the headers????????????????????????
On eBay but this was 3 years ago and they're no longer in business. I think they were $150 and made in Taiwan so anything similar would work. Took to fabrication because they were too short to meet the mid pipe.
@@threepedalgarage993 i got a set of headers from a place... they 98% fit the head but the header flanges to exhaust flanges are beyong kooked up so ill be fabbing...
Does it come with a dfouler so you don’t have a check engine light?
No but you're going to want a tune to take advantage of the better air flow. I've seen as low as $200 and they can override the CEL.
Nice Ohio local! How was the install of the headers? Any bending needed or awkward fitment?
Cbus here! Not going to lie its a tight fit against the side of the engine bay, a lot of back amd forth between engine bay and underneath. 1/4 in ratchet helps. The real problem the ebay headers don't fit: I had to seal off the 02 sensor ports and weld in a new section becuase one bank's pipe was too short.
@@threepedalgarage993hey man, if you trim down the second o2 bank to let the sensor be directly in stream, you can relocate your front exhaust sensor to the rear port. And delete the rear sensor as it does not effect performance.
@@ClipBallerr this is great advise. Ill have to try this: I'm getting lean bank one codes so maybe related. Ive got the project Focus torn apart and might be looking at an engine rebuild so this will have to wait.
@@threepedalgarage993 yes! If the o2 sensor isn’t directly in the exhaust stream I know that can mess it up. That’s why you need to trim down the second o2 sensor flange. Also do you have an instagram? Moving to ohio next year and i also have an e46 lol

Where did you get them?
Ebay, but the seller no longer exist. I did contact them a couple years witha. Fitment issue and they basically said, sorry they all come from the same factory is Thailand so nothing they cld do to help. Any ebay seller will be the same part I think.
Can I put 330ci headers on my 325ci?
Well getting a cheap ebay header is always a gamble but I think yes; where I ordered it fits all m52 OR m54 engines. So 323 and 328 OR 325 and 330 if that makes sense. But BMW changed the angle between the headers/ midpipe several times so be prepared to check and return.

it might or might not the engine is the same but the exhaust could be bigger since it’s a bigger car look up e46 headers and e53 headers and see if they are the same size
