Such an intense and emotional scene, with great acting from both. It's heartbreaking to see them torn apart like this. I think the writers did a great job because you see both sides of this conflict: on the one hand, it's understandable why Nikita didn't tell Alex the truth, on the other hand it's equally understandable why Alex feels betrayed and like she can't trust her anymore.
THIS IS THE BEST PART OF THE EPISODE!!! I really love alex and I'm glad the cw decided not to let them make up so fast like poeple do in most shows, it would be unrealistic. I really want to see them kick each other's asses next season!!
i think, there is no answers to whether niki should tell alex the truth in the very begining, alex is very young, unstable, stubborn and inexperienced(i'm not saying she's not smart, i love her completely), i think not telling alex the truth is very "niki", she tries to protect people around her with every way she can even she has to sacrifice herself. also alex has the right to be mad at nikita, but she also knows that nikita did this becuase she cares too much, so even when they are on opposite side from this ep till season 2, alex never really turn herself against nikita and she still rely on her.
that's just alex. always thinking she can handle everything and everyone. she was like that in 1x11. when she had that mission, to kill somebody for the first time. nikita wanted to do that for her, but she was just like, "no, you don't need to protect me anymore, i'm strong enough" could she pull the trigger? no. of course not. now the same. like MXLDisturbed said, for a few minutes she was allone, of course she got captured. alex is not strong. she's a kid.
that's really sad !! it's true that alex choosed the wrong way away from nikita , but i steel feel sorry for her , and i almost cry with her @ 0:32 ... and so with nikita when she got all imotional and tried to stop alex from making a big mistake . i think these two are great actresses , they did well with both characters
Actually, I blame Percy and Amanda for this entire scene…and a little bit of Nikita. If Percy would of never of told Alex the truth, Alex wouldn't of gone all rampaging bull on Nikita. But I blame Nikita for not trusting Alex with the cold hard truth, and obviously Alex was really pissed off that she didn't. I blame Amanda for telling Alex to make her own decisions. Alex, without guidance will make tons of mistakes, and life will be even harder, no one will help her, except for Amanda maybe.
personally i think the writers messed it up at the ending when the divison men came.. i really likes the emtion between alex and nikita and i was really looking forward to see what wazx going to happen after alex hit nikita but they runined it when those guys came in... :( but still the drama, emtion was so INTENSE I CANT WAIT FOR SEASON 2 ONLY 1 MONTH AND 2 DAYS AWAY :D
@aya3alem I agree. I didn't like how she tried to act like Nikita didn't have balance - like Nikita was just out for revenge and nothing else. She's trying to stop Division from destroying lives like hers was with Daniel and with turning her into a killer. I hated Alex when she threw Amanda's words back at Nikita.
@NinjaPixies No I don't think that Alex will make tons of mistakes!! I mean she did a really good job faking Nikita's death and making sure that they would both live!! I don't think Nikita would do the same, she would have chosen to die and everything would be ruinned!! But I agree with you in the other part, I think Nikita should have told her the truth from the beggining!
