The second version is my favorite! Very much techno...very much the late 90s new millennium. Timeranger was indeed the best Sentai of the 2000s and one of the best of all time!
I remember watching this sentai series for the first time and when it got towards the end of the series, I was nervous because the stakes kept getting higher and higher and sacrifices were made. Awesome series... Awesome background music... Definitely my favorite.
First time I watch Timeranger, which is the first Super Sentai I ever watch, I was confused who are this people wearing the Time Force suits. I only watch one episode of it, though I don't know what episode was. I think it happened in 2002, some point after Time Force ended (although not much I could remember about Time Force at the time). Nearly a decade later, when I got an understanding what Super Sentai really is, Timeranger was re-aired again, but it aired the latter half of Timeranger (episode 25 or 26, maybe), which means the one aired back in 2001 was only the first half before it abruptly ended. Nevertheless, I watch the second half and try to sink most of it in my head.
@@CJM94 It would make sense to be an anniversary, but bumping up the show a year will kill the point of this season. It takes place during the year 2000, it was meant to kick off the new millennium and Timeranger mostly taking place in 2001 wouldn't make much narrative sense. It's like if you bump up Kamen Rider Kuuga by a year.
