- Hello again everyone & thank you for taking the time to check out my end of year Comic Book Special which will cover my top 52 pickups of the year as well as some of my personal observations (geekservations?) of the comic industry & it's various forms of media. Whether it be printed or on the small & big screens, I put in my two cents of what I geeked out to in 2022 such asmy Top 5 favorite movies/shows of 2022, my disappointment w/ the MCU Phase 4, the death of the DCEU & how a back issue comic book market reacts without having movie speculation to drive it, to name a few lol! Great recap video, Kevin! So many great books and insights. I'm with you...I'll be doing more spotlights of comics already in my collection than hauls. @@TheKMN1971 Haha, I will work towards making a Star Wars video. I was unsure about Andor at the start but it won me over and is unique across all SW releases. And like you said, I far prefer it over the new Disney trilogy.

Another great year for pick ups. But just curious, I didn't watch them but why didn't Book of Boba Fett and Obi-Wan Kenobi work for you? Why was Andor so good? Would appreciate your thoughts.
Hey thanks for watching CBN! I did enjoyThe Book of Boba & Obi Wan, just not as much as Andor. I was surprised because in my personal Star Wars Hierarchy, I have a much greater attachment to the older, fleshed out characters such as Boba & Obi than Andor. Then his series hit Disney Plus like a breath of fresh air & was just blow away by how much that it exceeded my expectations! Imho, it's just wonderfully written, paced, cinematically shot & superb acting from the entire cast which puts it over the top for me! I'm really looking forward to Mando Season 3, Ahsoka & The Acolyte this year!

@@TheKMN1971 Oh okay that's cool. Just from what I'm hearing, Boba and Obi Wan made some weird decisions with character arcs and motivations that really strayed from their characters.
@@comicbookninja5268 Neither were perfect & both suffered from some cringe moments but the good definitely outweighed the bad imho.
