i love this scene- the awkwardness between the two while he finds out about the dream is adorable- like he’s trying to hide that he’s happy she dreamed about them as a couple
This scene shows us how we were robbed in the revival. They could have easily had the Luke and Lorelai wedding and Lorelai getting pregnant. All the would have to do is have a flash forward and Rory say I am pregnant and Lorelai say me too. Then that would have been four words. Women have babies older these days it is possible!
I was shocked that she told him about the dream. I never would've told a platonic male friend if I dreamed about them like that. Especially after their talk about how Nicole is nervous about them. And especially if I had a secret crush on my platonic male friend.
Love this episode!! And Luke's face at the moment when he realize they were married and expecting a baby in her dream shows how much that is the life he wants to have.. And Lorelai telling him about it seemed very happy too.. They both wanted the same but neither of them wanted to admit it... 🥺❤️❤️
Apparently Lorelai broke her own rule during her date in Run Away Little Boy. The guy came to the diner with his parents because Lorelai told him about the place and Luke. Remember "Darn shame about that Rachel" lol. They can't help talking about each other on dates.
Luke’s missed opportunity was to ask “so, then what happened?” Rather than “dream go beyond that?” Lorelai was definitely in a sharing mood, but the way he posed the question gave enough space for her to hesitate and not tow the line any further than she already had.
I can't speak for the experience of others, but all I know is that I forget about dreams almost as soon as I wake up. It's like pulling the plug on the drain in a bathtub once I wake up; everything just kinda gets forgotten immediately unless I say something or write anything down. The point being - this is months after the dream Lorelai had on that one night, and she's recalling in perfect detail what was in that dream. This could suggest one of two things, 1) how important that dream was to her and/or 2) that she's had that dream archetype more than once. Either way, it's important enough for her to want to remember it.
"lorelai" cuido los detalles íntimos de su sueño,para no contárselos a "Luke", pero se hubiera puesto más interesante,si le contaba lo que en realidad paso entre ellos, sea como sea,a "Luke" le gustó que soñará de ese modo con él.
Quarter to 5. Yet when they sleep together it rings at 6 (and everybody wakes up early in that city apparently since the place was packed) and also she pretends not to know his schedule when she later goes over with the 🥂. It was all ridiculous
I don't think family stories are completely off limits on a first date. You just don't want ALL/MOST stories to be about your mother cause then the relationship might seem overbearing.
luke mentioning lorelai several times unintentionally shows how much he always really loved her
On a date! With another woman! He has no topics that don't involve her!
@@dietdrpepper15 that is so true
And she has dreams of them as a family having his babies...

He feels so validated, 'oh I'm not the only one who thinks THIS!'

I love this episode! Especially how Luke finds out Lorelai's dreamed of them together. That grin she gives is just too cute.

yeah that was simply stupid
i think maybe she did it cos she wanted him to know!
This just shows that they were into each other even if they didn’t notice
Omg
Yes
Very true
Oh Nicole, 2 Lorelai stories on the first date? Never see Luke again. The man ain't available.
Ahhhhh

finally good Luke/Lorelai moments other than their short conversations at Luke's
I love this scene so much
´´What Am I? a dream tramp?´´ oh Lorelai
i have always loved that line ☺

I love this channel!!! So many uploads today:) THANK YOU SO MUCH!!
An old married couple already!
Luke’s arms 😍
And she couldn't have gone to Babette's, Miss Patty's, Mrs Kim's to snuggle up with Rory....cmon
Favorite Luke & Lorelai scene EVER
3:40 his arms are huge
He had a coffee pot up stairs here but not on their first date.
This is my favorite episode
“then u ki- ah no.”

Thank you! I thought I was the only one who noticed. Inconsistencies like that drive me mad
Maybe Luke just didn’t always open I’m not too sure
He only wakes up at that time when he has deliveries and I think is normal to forget that your boyfriend told you 2 years ago that he wakes up at 5
the first episode they sleep together he had ceasar open
Mine?? 😆😂 Lmfao
oh no Luke is a heavy snorer
I never understood the mother/sister talk on a first date advice. You aren't supposed to talk about your families on a first date?
No..
First date is about building sexual tension. Families don't do that. Hopefully.
I thought it was normal to at least mention them if you're trying to get to know the person (which depends on your intentions I guess)

Where was Jess during this?
4:06
@@emmakruszka9981 lololol
Seguro llegó mientras ellos dormían,solo que los ronquidos despertaron a "lorelai" rato después.
Jess was probably at work and they did show him when Lorelai woke up.
I love his short hair ❤
Luke is such a Virgo.
Hes a scorpio.
Luke sleeps in a single bed?
