The whole time I was thinking “you’ve been attached at the hip to your mom for 22 years and you think your dream is to become a front line reporter?”.. I feel like the whole becoming a journalist bit wasn’t thought through by the writers lol
I think rory was very idealistic and had all these great things in her head she wanted to accomplish but never self-aware enough to know she wasn’t built for all that and too coddled her whole life to be able to deal with tough criticism and a rough lifestyle. That’s why she went into such a self destructive down spiral when reality hit her. In my opinion. 😂
Though I disagreed with Lorelai and Christopher being together, I will say that at least he saw what he wanted and married her. Once you basically reach the 40+ age group or come close, you basically know what you want in a partner and whether you are truly content finishing our your life as a single person or not. While of course Lorelai still cared about Luke, he just kept stalling and making excuses, and she was the one who had to ultimately ask him. She just got so sick of taking the initiative.
LOw key still upset she refused Logan when he had such a sweet proposal. And with what then came next in the revival! That last scene is so bittersweet. Alexa realizing that she's a real actress with real competence and capability. Can you imagine establishing your career all in the context of a program like this??? It makes me want to re-watch the show, but in the context of what it meant to the actors and actresses involved! Maybe I should read Lauren Graham's book about it...
@@ShopeeBa Lauren Graham is an author; one of her books, if I am not mistaken, is essentially about her experience with the program. It's called, "Talking as Fast as I Can". An apt description of the three girls it seems.
@@ShopeeBa Perhaps with a "second proposal", as a way of telling people?? Like, after a person says yes, they can plan the party where they would tell the people that matter. And then do a skit where they...recreate the moment?? It could be a fun project for the new couple!
I dont understand much,at coffeeshop. Lorelai got hit by a ball by accident. One of their goofy moments. Another Taylor"s stupid ideas. Nice Rory,'s friend is pregnant

There is a book? ❤
A proposal shouldn't be in public.
