Thanks for the video! My Camaro is a 2014 so it's slightly different, the battery ground is like 1 gauge. I put a ground wire on the engine block, it seemed easier than the belt pulley tensioner

I recently helped a friend diagnose his 2010 Camaro SS for a primary/ secondary ignition coil G fault. He has also been experiencing all these other problems in this video and adding another ground wire solved a lot of the issues, however, here is something else that we found. On the main wiring harness cable that comes from the passenger side to the front of the engine block, there is a metal bracket that holds the wiring harness. Over time, this bracket rubs into the wiring harness eventually cutting into the wires which was causing our problem. Check this bracket and see if its cutting into your wiring harness. We took the bracket off and covered it with electrical tape to help. Id probably recommend using a plastic bracket if you can find something like that.

Hey so your friend had a code for P0357 which is ignition coil G code. And adding the better grounding cable fixed that code? Asking because I am currently going through the exact same thing right now. Have a code for ignition coil g which I have changed, changed the spark plugs switched the spark cable to another cylinder and checked the coil connector for power and shows good and code stays at same cylinder. Haven’t checked the grounds yet and not sure how to check the ones on back of each cylinder since it’s hard to see. But I’m hoping I can do this and hopefully 🤞 this would help me.

@@urahara_card_shopfor the ignition coil G, we found a broken wire from the computer to the ignition coil. It was in the wiring harness that comes across the front right (front near passenger side) going towards the computer. Where the harness has a metal bracket holding it,, thats where we found the broken wire due to the metal bracket rubbing the wires. The best way to find it is to Ohm the cables from the computer harness to the ignition coil connector. You may need to contact a dealer parts department to acquire a wiring diagram for the ignition coils.

@@urahara_card_shopon the ignition coil G code, we found a broken wire from the computer to the ignition coil G connector. If you are standing in front of the car, look for a wiring harness that comes from the computer on the right and comes across the front left top of the engine that is held by a metal bracket. Take off the bracket and look at the wires there. I suspect you have a broken wire for the ignition coil.

Just ordered a 1 gauge ground cable. I will try this. I had an issue last week when I started the car after coming out of the gym and all the dash lights didn't come on for about 10 seconds. It's the only time it's happened since I bought the car last October. Then I remembered your video I scrolled over the other day. Ok here we go. I bought my 2018 2SS about 2 years ago it was used and only had 4K miles on it. The 8 speed trans had a shudder to it. I’ve had this same issue with my GMC Canyon. GM/Chevy has final come up with a fix for it and it works. So I took it in for The fix. About a week later I go to start my car and it started but not at first. Took it to the dealer they said everything was fine. So I bought a battery tender and leave it on when not drive. Car isn’t my daily. I then started smelling antifreeze only when the A/C is on. Took it to the dealer twice they pressure tested nothing. tested the oil to see if there’s antifreeze in it nope. Checked the heater core nothing. No leaks. No lose of coolant. Yesterday I was driving it and pulled in and the tac start jumping up and down. Engine wasnt reviving. So I found this channel and just installed the cable. Test drove it and knock on wood tac stop jumping. Hopefully the antifreeze smell goes away now.
