Thank you! Sometimes I need a reminder to just take a deep breath before I get overwhelmed.
Great to see you back 😊

Morgan, great advice as usual 👍🏻. Thanks for being a rational "Prepper" with common sense and no drama. For those just starting to see the value of being prepared it can be overwhelming. By being mindful of the basic preps to start accumulating one can feel a sense of accomplishment and not feel like this is an impossible dream. As you say, just pick up an extra can or two on each shopping trip. It's a start and it's affordable. Thanks for your positivity and calm manner. We all need this nowadays.

Just getting started is the ‘perfect’ way to start. I know what you mean about the procrastination and paralysis, it seems so daunting. But by just buying a little and storing it away, the spell is broken, and your stock soon builds up.
Fantastic video, love your work, thank you 😊

The plastic totes that will slide under a bed are a great value. Four will fit under a queen, two will fit under a twin. I believe that the starting point is a go now (fire alarm in the middle of the night) bag, right by your bed. Second, add power outage (cooking, food, water, blankets, power bank) supplies. Then start building your longer term preps.

A dollar store was closing, and everything was 20 cents. Got lots of canned food, plastic drop cloths, and lithium coin type batteries. Look for crazy clearance and sales. Got 200 items, including about 100 cans of food, for about the price of 3 meals at McDonalds. Had some fancy schmancy ready to eat rice in pouches, $3.50 each in the grocery store.. 20 cents each for me...

I finally got to the point where I have 3 to 5 months worth of food, 8 to 10 months of paper products 😉, but probably only a month or month and a half of water. I simply don't have enough space to store more water. Not sure if you have a suggestion. Thanks!

I think prepping is different for everyone. It depends where you live, what your priorities are, how much 'discomfort' you are willing to endure and how work you are willing to do.
