During the Leave/Remain campaign a number of different versions of Leave were promoted that could not all be delivered because they were not consistent. For example, some leavers wanted to stay in a customs union and others did not. There was agreement about some important intended goals, but not all. Some people were always going to be disappointed. There never was such a thing as the Leave deal everyone wanted.
On top of that, there was no clear plan about how particular goals could be reached without making other goals difficult or impossible. For example, controlling the transport of goods across the land border on the island of Ireland so that standards of goods can be different on each side of the border (making the most of our sovereignty) does not help sign a good trade deal with an American president, Senate and House who want votes from many other Americans proud of their Irish roots. (Remember that the IRA raised a lot of their funds from sympathisers in New York back in the day.)
I do not believe that the Leave benefits that everyone wanted will ever be delivered because they never could be delivered. Having said that, a better government than our current cabal of clowns and crooks might have been able to reach better Leave deals with the EU and other trade partners. (The "I" in UKIP was for Independence, not Isolation: wasn't it?) That ship has sailed. Any improvements will be difficult, take time and more imagination than has been shown so far. But we shall see....
Your friends and associates will have a long wait for what they wanted, unfortunately.

Each institution also tried to overturn the referendum result and thereby squandered over four years of serious preparatory time (intentionally?).
Unlike other trade negotiations around the world, there will be no pragmatism in our dealings with the EU. We must be punished and our treatment be a warning to other potential dissenters within the burgeoning EU federal state.

When she's losing the argument which she does every week, she cries don't patronise me, which she thinks is her get out of trouble card.
Thank God we’re one step closer to undoing the catastrophe that was BREXIT. A You Gov poll shows 60% of Britons now wish to return. Try reading Michelle you might find it actually helps.👏

Far too risky to go back into the Eu. Let’s wait until 2040.

Do you know what I love? I live in Scotland so this will unfortunately not help me, in the slightest, At least Starmer is now showing his true colours, when he could have literally sat on his arse and said nothing as the small 'C' conservatives were not doing their job! At long last Rishi has stood up and taken the flack that the rest of Britain is feeling! We don't have the money, simple as that! I do applaud GBNews inviting these left wingers on to try and show the opposite side, but when they are totally wrong and unrespectful at the same the same time? GET THEM OFF, AND DON'T INVITE THEM AGAIN!!! Complete ARSE!

@MrAndyblue52 yes we have! This is brexit. The choice is whether to stay aligned with our nearest neighbours' trading rules or not. If we choose "not" then we have to find enough trading partners, literally thousands of miles away, adding to the cost of imports and exports making our goods less competitive. What Stamer is proposing is pragmatic and common sense to help maintain our businesses and economic advantages.

If they can pass an independent audit, then we might think about it, it never will to many suit cases of cash being pasted around.
