Yo Teach, I must say that for a younger man, I really appreciate how much you do your research & do your best to dig deep to preserve the history and culture. Crystal was a "uptown" sound from back in the 80s. Jam Master Al & Mix Master Marlon from Calabar (RIP) was 2 "disco boy" who brought a kind of hip hop flavor to dancehall & bring the introduce more of the "disco" boys into dance hall. You should really try to find Al & interview him.

Yes Teach Dem you did it again !!!! Nice Nice Nice Richie Pooh my dj ,,, I have worked with him in radio,, , Richie Pooh has one of the best radio voices ever !!!!!. He knows a lot about reggae music , he can mix and talk ,,, I remember the days when he was on Royal Radio in Bronx New York USA ,,, people would wait up for his Sunday show on Royal Radio.. .. Children would call in to radio show even though he would play vintage music ... thanks teach dem and God bless Richie Pooh.

I am so glad I check this interview out. My cousins owned Stereo Vibes and I never knew that Richie Pooh was a selector for the sound. I was living abroad and wasn't preileged to know. I only attended one Stereo Vibes dance while vacationing in Jamaica...I only knew Richie Pooh as a Silver Hawk selector, so this is rather refreshing. I met Richie Pooh the first time at a soul to soul party in Florida that our sound played at. To me he is one of the most profesional and polished selector in the business. I am not easily impressed and as a selector myself...I rate Richie Pooh to the max. Very nice interview. Teach Dem...standard..always tun up.

We need to understand that patois is our own dialect/language that was created by our forefathers. Ppl like miss Lou and Muta are examples of ppl who are proponents of our language, I have met several Caucasians who offered money to teach them how to speak patios any how bredda I will see you one Satdeh night in klassique.

This is one off off the thing that strike me most in this interview that I personally don't understand Nor like When Ritchie pool said He is CDL truck driver And listen to me carefully Bina Chuck driver is great Because I am a Uber driver But a man as Richie pool who put in so much work Into music Would own a studio When I look at Say the sound system might Chrome From Japan and the business that they turned that system in what happened to our selectors Why is it that you guys are not owning more Because you guys are the foundation You guys are the root and people who don't even from our culture a culture are earning serious money from from it billing a business from it we need to Wise up
