Hot Pursuit 2 brings me back so much memories. Racing a CLK-GTR or a 550M spider is something you rarely see in street racing games anymore...

All massive or relatively massive jump in visual quality.
Strangely, Carbon, Undercover, Shift 2 (debatable here) were relative visually less impressive than their predecessors.
I like the style how you compare two games.

Underground 2 customization is unparalleled, nothing beats it. And Most Wanted was great. If they remade Most Wanted '05 in Frostbite 3/4, Added a Day/Night Cycle, and rain, and had ALL the customization options like in Underground 2, we'd have a perfect game. Who's with me?

Nfs: underground 1 was still pretty good. I love nfsu series, mw, and carbon. Best games in the nfs series
I love most wanted, it has a different feel to it in comparison to the other games
Because it has a good stroy with characters that feel real. After Most Wanted NFS turned into "good racing games with good graphics". The storytelling is almost none-existent.

Actually if you played Fast and Furious you will see a lot of similarities. It is basically an open world F&F game complete with rubber cars that bounce all over.

in my opinion mw 2012 is way more enjoyable then 2005 because driving in that game is very fun, and its not that hard and long as mw 2005. in mw 2012 you just hop in a car and drive, witch for me is very fun
but i understand why old nfs games are way cooler then the new ones

2005 Nailed it with NFS Most Wanted after that the game went downhill.
pro street wasnt that bad... the physics/engine/cars/modifcations with open world and cops... would be pretty nice.. :)
Pro Street was pretty good indeed, but it never felt like is was finished. Lots of bugs and glitches that never got fixed and some patches even made the game worse in some ways.
oh yea, the PS2 prostreet was barely playable lel

When Hot Pursuit 2010 first released, it was such a blast. I Was staying there with my mouth wide open in amazement at how good the controls and the graphics were. Remains the best NFS game for me, and i doubt that this will ever change
Undercover 2 was the first NFS for me but original Most wanted was the best

the best is nfs3 hot pursuit.
1. nfs3 has 2 mode day and night
2. can play as a cop
3. can turn on/off light and blinker even can us horn
4. but the car only super and exotic
nfs 4 has all of nfs 3 content, and more ;)

You could've used the Lamborghini Diablo. I think that one has been in every game so far.
undeny The diablo isn't in Underground 1-2, Most Wanted, Carbon, and pretty much every game after that.
There's lambo diablo in 2015, mw 2012, nfs no limits, world and much more so lots of diablos

I think Porsche 911 has been in every NFS except Underground
The Diablo only appeared from NFS '94 to High Stakes, Hot Pursuit 2, and then Hot Pursuit 2010, The Run, MW 2012, and NFS '15. The others not mentioned did not have that car.

NFS Underground 1: Where the fun started. I will always remember this one drag race I used nitrous and the ridiculous shape of a certain bridge to jump the guy ahead of me right before the finish line
NFS Underground 2: Known for having best customization
NFS Most Wanted (2005): Just amazing
NFS Carbon: Good game but they went crazy with motion blur
NFS Pro Street: Graphics were ahead of its time and a good change of race settings
NFS Undercover: Seemed like a big downgrade from pro street
NFS Shift: An improvement on the feel Pro Street was going for
NFS Hot Pursuit (2010): A disgrace to the original
NFS Shift 2: A good racing game with good customization
NFS The Run: A downgrade from 2010 Hot Pursuit ( I didn't think that was even possible at first)
NFS Most Wanted (2012): Another disgrace
NFS Rivals: Decent since it uses a unique title
NFS 2015: Back to cliche underground style story with half the customization. Okay game but not better than Shift 2 Unleashed (which was forgotten somehow)
Sadly the developers behind Shift series went to make the garbage half assed Project CARS instead of sticking with EA and making a Shift 3.

NFS Undercover is such a great game, there isn't really any major faults with it, it was great for 2008
When I was a child, my first NFS was NFS: Porsche. Still remember this wired music, old cars market, and industrial zone, which i I hated but loved at the same time and trying not to wreck my car. I could play it all day long after doing my lessons with my friend, NFS: Porsche and GTA: Vice City brings to me very warm memories. I miss my childhood

i thought the same thing. No progress from first most wanted.
Hot Pursuit was a throwback and brought a much needed change to the Need For Story era. Though it lost out some of the flexibility and openness of the older games. Shift was a huge departure for the series as well.

I have the first Need For Speed on Playstation, and to this day it still holds up as one of the best driving simulators I've ever experienced.
