Big Wyoming Tom Bobcat in a Snare

Picked up a big wyoming tom today in a snare. I usually use leg hold traps but decieded to use snares and picked up this nice cat

Hey I was wondering if I can use a trap that's not laminated for coyote and bobcat traping I'm really the only one around that traps so I have no one to teach me anything?
