Looking at the EOL stats, the chances of Celtic winning in Dormund is the exact same as Bratislava had against us. I dont think we will get skelped 5-1, but it is quite possible.
we are in the best possible shape going into this game. on our day we can give ANYONE a game. dortmund fans are a little anxious about this game so i have read. they arent expecting an easy game. they understand we play in a much weaker league but they know we have powerful fast players which dortmund dont like. i think we’ll fall short a little but plenty of goals… 3-2 dortmund but we’ll give a really good account of ourselves
The reason Stuttgart prevailed is because they had the requisite Physicality at 2-0 up to keep going strong, but Bochum when 2-0 up blew-up and allowed Dortmund's bench quality to recover the game and they lost it 4-2. So this is where Celtic have been really found out in the last 5 years, the physical quality to find extra legs after 60 minutes. I think that's the key to the game for us. But if Celtic beat Dortmund we will then only need 4 points from 3 home games to qualify so win it and I think we will basically be qualified. But if we treat this game as a "throw-away" then Dortmund will sniff that attitude from us and will increase their confidence.

I watched the Bochum game on Friday night and I was surprised how Bochum played especially the first 30 minutes or so, they had Dortmund rattled and should have scored more. However, Dortmund were able to change things, rebooting their energy levels in the team in second half and pulled off the victory. Celtic will have to be on it for 90 plus minutes. Everybody has to turn up on the night. Need big performance from the defense. Likewise our attack needs to rattle that yellow wall and knock it down. Should be a great atmosphere and game.

Genuinely believe that had we went into the Champions League this season with Bernardo, Engels, O'Riley as our midfield and Maeda, Kuhn, Kyogo as our attack that we had a realistic chance of winning the Champions League this season, selling O'Riley has hurt our chances a lot in doing that, the stars were beginning to align as they did for Ajax a few years ago
