@@AaliyanAmjad People forget their kid is in the car on a hot day. On average, 38 children have died from heatstroke because they were left in a hot car. Scary stories with a monster or ghost in it, you can simply reassure yourself that it’s fictional. But you can’t with this one because it actually happens.

The kid died from being left in a sweltering car for 9 hours. It's sadly something that happens way more than it should. When a car is baking in the sun, it's basically like an oven. Imagine falling asleep in a hot oven for 9 hours, you won't wake up. :'( That's what happened to the poor child in the story.

Did anyone else notice when they were talking about what they did that morning they never said anything about dropping emily off? Its just that little detail that does some foreshadowing to the events that occur later in the story.
Definitely my favourite one out of all your videos. I know it's originally a Creepypasta, but the way you edited and narrated it, and theillustrations...ooh...chills. So many chills!
Creepypasta notwithstanding, this happens horrifically often--i.e. much more than once in human history.

i saw on the news the other day about a grandmother left her young granddaughter in the back seat of her locked car for 8 hours while she went to work.... forgot to drop her off at daycare. truly heartbreaking. it reminded me instantly of this video
I don't know if this is scary as much as it is a wake up call. People leave small animals and children in cars all the time, and many times this causes death. I think this is more a warning to stay safe this summer.

I've actually read this before, so the moment she started talking about routine I knew what the ending was, but I first read it a little after I got my first dog; I was 18 and she was the first real responsibility in my life outside of helping around the house and finding a job. This reminded me of a similar situation that happed a few months back near my workplace. Security found a little kid walking alone in the parking lot. Apparently the parent left the kid alone in the car, and the child managed to unlock the car door and get out. The kid was 4 years old.

Probably a weird function if you have IPhone then the vid might've said something similar to 'siri' and then said 'autopilot' and its a command you can use on siri? Try saying 'autopilot' to your siri if you have IPhone and see if it does it, if you have android try saying it to google assistant and see if it does it, you might've pressed a button to summon the google assistant and didn't realize, like if your phone has a button on the side to summon google assistant you might've pressed it by accident, or held down the home button by accident. Idk, just giving what advice i can to help see if it was normal or something else like a glitch or something.

3 yeass later i spotted a good example of "AutoPilot" in the video
At first, the guy had stated that his daughter moved to get out of the glare, she took a nap since she didn't get much sleep, then he stated he went to work and did his normal routine, what i had to replay to notice was that the guy did not state that he ever took his daughter to daycare at that point
Basically, we all just had that autopilot mode in that moment, it made us think about other stuff about or not about the story, but what we didn't think about is the choice of wording sapphire said at that point so we thought the guy took his daughter to daycare already, he didn't cause he didn't state it, The change too his routine Changed his memory
And we didn't notice that, we thought everything was normal there

I put my Backpack on a Chair like I normally do as a part from routine on Friday. My mom moved it near the Kitchen window and completely broke my routine. So on Wednesday (No school on Monday or Tuesday) When I went back to school all I did was grab my Wallet, Phone, and Headphones. Since my Backpack wasn't where it used to be my brain completely forgot about it as I was also going to be late for school. When I got to class I was going to put my Lunch in my Backpack, and I reached for my Backpack I realized, I didn't have it. I remembered it being on the Kitchen Window, and therefore, I went to school without a backpack.

City Kitty Animates unfortunately it is something that happens in real life, parents who usually don’t have to take their child to school or daycare will automatically drive straight to work without thinking about it. It usually only happens to very small children or babies who are unable to get out of the car (or even their carseat) alone
