3:03 was actually sad. It kinda made me cry. Not from fear, but because I felt that deeply. The girl feels like whenever she knocked on the wall as a little girl, she was mocking those who were begging for help. It fills me with so much sorrow and anger.

I kinda also feel like that since most of the people inside the wall that died were women, the girls mother probably might have been one of those women trapped inside. Her father might have decided to spare her only if she married him and she agreed but forever lived with the guilt of what he was doing. The mom may have loved her daughter but became distant because not only did her daughter look just like her father, she also complained about the wall scratching and constantly became annoyed with her because she was worried about her daughters fate and destiny and didn’t know how to save her and felt bad that she failed her child.
That one where the room was filled with families was so messed up.
When the “heroic” dad would say be quiet or else! We would think he is joking for his daughter, but in reality this scared the families into holding it in.
I don't think the serial killer kept whole families in there, it seemed more like he was kidnapping individual people

The most scary story I was told when I was younger was about these two sisters and lofted beds.
The two sisters lived in a peaceful town where the only scary thing that happened was telling scary story's with friends around camp fires, a favorite of the girls being the legless man who went insane after being experimented on by the government and then disappearing from his cell. Growing up they shared a bunk bed with the younger on top and the older on bottom. Since they where little girls the younger would always kick her hands and feet off the side of the bed as kids, usually knocking over her glass of water from the side table onto the floor. It became a problem as they grow older as the older sister started getting hit in the face with her siblings wayward limbs. Eventually the dad gave in and built them both lofted beds so they could still make the most out of their smaller room.
One night when the girls are in high school their where left alone for a night while their parents go out to a conference. This has happened many times before so no one thought anything of it. That night the sisters beside to go to the movies and taking the money their parents left for them, they jump in the older sisters car and head into town. After a fun night out, a storm starts to pick up and they head home only to find the door unlocked. The younger sister thinks nothing of it and starts to head in but the older sister holds her back.
"Wait" she said "I closed and locked the door when I left why is it unlocked?"
The younger sister shrugs it off "You're probably just remembering it wrong don't worry" and precedes to head in. Slowly the older sister joins. When nothing is out of place and nothing happening she starts to relax and when it was time for bed she completely forgets about it. Later that night the older sister wakes up to a weird noise and having to use the bathroom. The noise was this weird "thud thud shhhk" like branches where falling off the near by trees then sliding down the roof. Sleepily the older sister gets down from her loft and steps in a puddle. Not wanting to deal with cleaning up after her sister this late at night she shuffles into the bathroom and back barely opening her eyes and proceeds to fall back to sleep.
The next morning the older sister wakes up and looks over the edge of the loft. There on the floor is her sister cut up into pieces, her decapitated head starring lifelessly at her. Screaming she jumps out of her loft and runs for the door slipping on the puddle of blood she stepped in last night. Coming out into the landing she sees a legless man look up from the bottom of the stairs at her and he points behind her then pulls himself out of the house "thud thud shhhk, thud thud shhhk". After she was sure he was gone, the older sister looked behind herself to see written on the wall in her sisters blood. "just be glad I couldn't reach you too"
To this day I refuse to sleep on bottom bunks and as much as I can I don't dangle any of my limbs of the side of any bed.

My dad has built my family home he still lives there with his girlfriend and my brother and her kids and sometimes my sister and I go visit sometimes.I feel safe because my dogs are buried there and it’s a safe neighborhood my dogs looked out for us...Delilah say next to our cribs,and samson would sleep at the top of the stairs in case someone broke in...they where bff’s and they where buried together and strangely enough died on the same day or at least close to it...I love them...and the animals,I feel like all the deer I always see are like guardian angels...I love animals (I’m not vegan) dogs mainly

QuantumMechanisms Yes. Her house wasn’t really haunted; her dad let her believe it was because it gave a reasonable explanation to the noises made while he kept people prisoner and then killed them. Her father was a serial killer. I know you didn’t ask about it, but, the main character felt so much guilt over it that it affected the rest of her life. She felt guilty that she wasn’t able to save those people even though she didn’t even know what was going on. When she realized what those noises really were, the victims scratching to get out and then scratching their final words when they accepted that help was never coming, she felt so guilty that the only thing she could do was be sure someone read their messages. Also, in a way, I think she was grateful. If it hadn’t been for those other people taking her father’s attention then he would probably have quenched his bloodlust on the nearest available human, related or not.
