But you can easily make it egg and dairy free. 650g Hokkaido pumpkin 500g flour 1 packet of dry yeast 2-3 tsp sugar 1-2 tsp salt 100ml milk 50g butter 1 egg PREPARATION Dice the Hokkaido pumpkin and cook on a baking sheet at 180°C (top/bottom heat) for 40 minutes until soft. Then mash or puree and let cool. Mix flour, yeast, salt and sugar (here the quantity decides: do you prefer sweet or neutral?). Heat the milk and butter and add lukewarm or melted to the flour. Knead all ingredients until a smooth dough is formed. Now patience is required: Cover the dough and let it rise in a warm place for 1 hour. Then knead again, shape, position on a lined baking sheet, cover and wait another 45 minutes. When the dough has finally doubled in size, it can be placed in the preheated oven (175°C, fan oven). And finally: take the butter out of the fridge, cut off a warm slice of fresh pumpkin bread, spread it, bite it - enjoy!

Looks good and has a nice colour. I rarely use eggs, dairy or oil when making bread (except for some of your recipes which have all been really good). I typically stick to very basic ingredients such as flour, water, salt & yeast.

I tried this recipe today, and the results were delicious. I'll definitely be making it again in the future. As an experiment, I tried half the number of rolls baked in the oven, and the other half in the pan. Both were very good, with just a slight personal preference for the pan cooked version. Yum!

He has great videos, for simple breads, and also sourdough breads, and teaches you how to make your own starter, so there is no yeast in the bread if you don't want it. Because not ALL cups and spoons on the market are the same volume and when you put the ingredient in it you don't know either if you put 50 grams or 60 grams of flour, for example, all you know, the recipe fails! Baking is science. It must be precise!

Si ponen mitad harina de maíz (común o blanco precocido) y mitad harina de amaranto (más una pizca de goma xántica si se quiere) en lugar de harina de trigo esta receta seguramente quedará igual de rica pero sin gluten, además tendrá proteínas y calcio como la leche o la carne y, además, con vit C ...serán muy nutritivas, saciantes y antidepresivas 😉 (según investigaciones de la UNAM)

12-15 minutes in 356°F/180°C. I use wholemeal and was good. But colour was not that beautiful😊
