I would buy it over a tesla any day. 1. Tesla has shit build quality 2. I'm swedish to I'm obviously obligated to get a "Swedish" car. 3. It's cheaper than a Tesla in terms of leasing in sweden.
I enjoyed the video, and thought it was well-balanced. I would like point out that the blue interior is available with the Plus and Ultimate trims, with the seats shown in the video, for all colours other than Fusion Red and Sage Green. A grey interior is available for all trims and exterior colours. "Tailored Wool" seats (with a grey interior) is an option with the Plus and Ultimate trims. Exceptional range would be appreciated for longer road trips, but those are generally taken in warmer months, so I don't think cold-weather range is that much of an issue. Also, it needs to be recognized that many C40 owners will choose to travel longer distances in a vehicle made by Boeing or Airbus. My wife and I have each owned a BMW i3 for the last five years and have never used a DC charger. I've been told I have only 3-5 more weeks to wait for my C40 (with the Tailored Wool seats)!
When he made the video the new 2023-2024 C40 probably wasn't announced, especially for NA market. The RWD is pretty new. I ordered my C40 2023 in November and only AWD or FWD was available.
I see a lot of people use this as an argument. In most cases I don't think range ever is a problem. Unless you're driving a very long distance where range is an issue, an EV in 2023 probably isn't the best choice.

This does have a heat pump and even heated windshield and headlight washers. Compared to other EVs, this better equiped for winter than most.
Ben, informative video. I own a C40 Ultimate, and it does have a heat pump to improve efficiency in freezing weather.
Yeah you can get the heat pump for the Volvo and Polestar vehicles.

I've sat in one of these. I'd definitely buy it over a tesla just because the seats are a lot more comfortable for me.
Its cool car! but the cost is heavy. Anyways i like it over tesla and mach e.
The Ultimate has a heat pump which should make a difference.
As someone who has the sister vehicle, polestar 2, I'm happy to have the extra range but lose some room in the back and a little of the plushness.
Plus P2 is more "crampted" in the driver seat.
The 2023 C40 does not offer the black roof. What a shame!
