Could you please create a video on how to use the quilting pattern on the Brother PRS100? Also, I am wondering if I can quilt around (not overtop) of my embroidery designs somehow with this same machine. I just can't find any videos on this feature, and the manual is not at all helpful. Thank you for your wonderful content!

That's a good one! Stay tuned, I'll put that on the list for after the holidays :) Thanks for embroidering along with me.

Love your new machine. Can you talk about why you chose this model over for example the Babylock. Thanks!

Awwww.... The Baby Lock version of my Brother PRS 100 Persona is just as lovely! I ended up getting this one because having a good sewing machine dealer is super important for support if I need to have it fixed. I LOVE Sew Jersey!

This is a Great video! I’m thinking of purchasing this machine. Are you happy with it? It would be my first machine as I like the free arm for what I want to do. It’s a big investment and just want your opinion. Thank you!

Thanks so much! There are only 2 downsides to this machine (in my opinion). First it's big and heavy, so I recommend getting the stand that Brother makes to put it on. The stand has shelves and hooks for storage and it rolls around really easily so you can "put it away" when you're not embroidering. The second thing is that the largest embroidery size is 200mm x 200mm (8" sq). This isn't really a down side for me because it's plenty big for me... If you want bigger, then this isn't the machine for you. The reason why I love it is because it's easy to use, the touch screen is very intuitive. I like that it only embroiders (instead of a combo machine that sews and embroiders) So, you're only paying for high end embroidery features instead of a top of the line that does both & I can sew on my sewing machine while the PRS 100 is embroidering away at the same time! I've had mine for almost 2 years and I oil and keep in clean... no need for service yet! Hope this helps you!

Why buy this when a 4 needle is the same price? What is the selling point of this machine?

This machine was $1000 less than the Janome 4 needle machine when I purchased it. Did a quick check that seems to still be the case. If you can get it for the same price... I say go for it! I wasn't looking for a multi-needle machine because the models that have the number of needles I would need to not have to re-thread for color changes are way out of my budget. I have had this machine for two and a half years and it has worked perfectly for me without trouble since the day I brought it home!
