- Two North and southbound Metrorail trains arrive at this cool crossing, one having come from Lakeline and one from Downtown Austin. They met at Kramer Station off camera to the right. The line is one track but another track was installed when MetroRail service began to allow the trains to pass each other. The train that activated the crossing was the one that came from the right, but due to it stopping at the station, the southbound rolls through first.

Interesting horns, cool crossing!
I WENT TO DALLAS WITH MY FAMILY AND I SAW THE DART TRAIN PASS A RAILROAD CROSSING!!!
Nice! This MI bell sounds healthy :)
Thank You! This bell sounds a lot better. I am getting a Safetran mechanical bell soon!
UPDATE: The remaining Modern Industries mechanical bell was recently replaced by a GS Type 3 E-Bell.
Thank you for the description of what is happening at this crossing with the two trains.
You are welcome.
Awesome!
Thank you!
Nice. I like the red and yellow lights, plus the 3 against 2 bell rhythm.
Thank you! It may look it, but there are no yellow lights here. Also not sure what you mean by 3 against 2?
I now see that the red lights just appear yellow when illuminated, but I like the effect. "3 against 2" is a music term for triplets played together with quarter notes. It's just an artifact of the different bell frequencies, but sounds cool.
I get what you mean ;)
Nice video! Can't be too many MI mechanical bells in that part of Texas.
There are not very many around here. These two crossings are the first I have seen with them in Austin.
All the crossings Acton ma are all from wrrs
No, mostly WCH with some WRRS.
