I love how you used your tips on how documentation should look like on your own video and made it clear concise and well sectioned, thank you so much for this video it was really helpful ❤
Thank you for this video mate. I've been struggling with documentation a lot. All the information is there but it can get massively overwhelming to read through it. I'm studying but iv never be told how to use documentation just shown where the answer is in the documentation for what were studying. Every single time i watch, listen and think I have no idea how they figured that out from those docs. The doc's are good it's probably because our tutor skips straight to the answer and has never explained how she got there or how to use the documentation at all. This video was much needed thank you. You just got a new sub
just came through a document regarding oauth. Seemed too technical for me. Your video popped up. Everything beautifully explained and very nice visuals used in the video. You deserve more views. Keep up the quality content.
I am a new software engineer and have not been good at reading through documentation since college. I got away with it in college because most of the things I learn had videos or lots of resources on it. That isn't always the case with company work, so I need to address the problem!
Wow! Amazing video! I feel like I've been looking for something like this for a while. I mostly work with Kotlin and Android and their docs sometimes use Java syntax which can be confusing for beginners and it's taken me a bit of time to wrap my head around this. Because of this it was very refreshing to hear you say that me having difficulty understanding certain docs is not a reflection of how I'm doing as a developer. Thank you!
Thank you. Thank you thank you thank you for this video. I am a new developer (or trying to be) and have been spending more time than I should probably admit on a public forum, feeling like I’d like to curl up under my desk and sob for a bit. Confidently using documentation felt impossible. Within the first minute of your video I liked, subscribed and am posting it to my shared work slack channel. In a sea of terrifyingly opaque information, or well-meaning but unfortunately executed RUclips tutorials, your video was an oasis of clarity. I wish I could give you a hug..just. Thank you.
yeah, I've been hearing engineers using ChatGPT more often while learning - but I still recommend getting comfortable sifting thru docs since you'll eventually find yourself needing to do that 🤓
lots of documents keep coming my way to read and review it. each doc is more than 40 pages and fully with statements not pictures. how to read fast and find mistakes. not grammar mistakes not spelling mistakes, technical mistakes. such as if they forgot to mention about db or forgot to enter domain details etc.
Why do other channels make their videos complicated with jargon? ,yours is simple to understand and straight to the point ,
This was a crazy informative and well-formatted video, thank you!!!
Glad it was helpful!
Thanks.Nobody speaks about how to do unfamiliar tasks at all.
This video is pure gold ..
This is best of the best video out there on how to read/use documentation.

Yeah docs definitely need to be more beginner friendly in general, but I'm glad my video could help!
Would you recommend w3school ? Or is that more of a starter guide ?
