I love how they're giving the perception of the events of the world from all the different perspectives of everyone involved. Like last season, a few episodes of that then the sides come together and things go crazy, but we understand why from everyone's point of view.
Now that I think about it, imagine a warzone, of 20000 people, someone dying every second, imagine the chaos and screaming of people... and then dead calm silence

I can understand the opinion that for those who prefer flashy action, it is a constant source of boredom
However, one of the main reasons why I like Slime is because of its detailed setting
Since it is based on a novel, there are many detailed descriptions, such as the explanation of the worldview, the movements of each force, the thoughts of each character, and their intentions for actions in battle
Even in the battle scenes, the understanding of the thoughts and intentions of each character is an element that makes this work enjoyable many times over
It is my opinion that this anime is not recommended for those who just want to enjoy the extreme things without considering the details
Mushoku Tensei, Frierein, and HxH are dialogue heavy stories but are written better than this season

I think Slime could have had a better way of presenting itself as an animation, but unlike other animations, it focuses on the founding of a nation, becoming its leader, and governing it
Therefore, meetings are indispensable, but I felt it would be harsh to criticize them too much, since their nature makes it difficult to expand the range of expression, and I believe that they are also a part of the process that acts like a short break for busy animators
Hinatas right about the situation in Foul-Mouth, that is a POLITICAL problem. They are an army that belongs to a CHUCH; unless they start oppressing's their devotes in someway, they would be overreaching and sticking their noises in UNECCISARY business if they did.
4:35 Honestly, atp, I'm pretty certain a main underlying theme of the story is about the unfounded intolerance and hatred found in the real world. It is another interesting layer to dissect about this series.

*Ten Great Saints* are the Holy Knights at the top of the organization known as the Western Holy Church. Only the strongest soldiers can enter the group, and their hierarchy is decided by strength and ability. As the name suggests, being an Enlightened is a minimum prerequisite, and it is expected for the members to continue to improve themselves so they can attain True Saint level power.
Originally created by Luminous Valentine as a division of the general forces among the Holy Knights, she handpicked the strongest fighters with the greatest potential for evolution with the intention of encouraging the creation of heroes under her command. The role of the Clerics of the Seven Luminaries or Seven Luminaries for short, on the other hand, was to act as mentors to train this potential to the fullest.
The Church is further subdivided into two big groups: the Paladins; Holy Knights under the direct command of Hinata Sakaguchi, and the Master Rooks; under the direct command of the Holy Emperor, with the top three among their ranks being the Three Battlesages. The line between the two was blurry, especially as the Holy Emperor tended to not give any orders that would interfere with the Paladins.
To further prevent misunderstandings and friction, a meeting is held once a month between all members of the group to discuss events and clarify actions.
Hinata Sakaguchi, being the strongest fighter, not only held the title of Captain of the Paladins, but also defeated Saare and took his title as Head Knight of the Master Rooks. This made her the de facto leader of both subdivisions, effectively unifying both groups so long as she was in charge.

The *Paladins,* also known as the Holy Knight Order or the Crusaders, are the Holy Knights selected from the Western Holy Church's Temple Knights elites and are under the direct command of Hinata Sakaguchi.

The *Master Rooks,* also known as the Rook Geniuses or the Holy Emperor's Imperial Guard Division, are the Imperial Guard of the Holy Empire Lubelius. All members are granted the Title of Rook. The three strongest of them are known as the Three Battlesages and have seats amongst the Ten Great Saints.

*Human Evolutionary Paths*
There are two mainstream evolutionary paths available to humans, Enlightenment and Majinization. There is a third in the form of awakening the power dormant in ones bloodline and returning to a purer form of their subspecies or even becoming a Fairy, but this is only normally available to certain Demi-Human subspecies and only during special circumstances.
Enlightenment only occurs as the result of long and arduous training that ends with the person in question breaking through a mental barrier and becoming a demi-spiritual lifeform, allowing them to think with their Spiritual Body and partially sublimating their flesh to a higher existence. Enlightened, even Human ones, enjoy a high tolerance and capacity towards Magicules as well as physical and mental capabilities along with lifespan inconceivable for normal humans.
Majinization occurs due to a mutation brought on by high magicule exposure, magic rituals, or other unique circumstances. Humans who undergo this process have become Majin and are labeled as Demonoids for the sake of convenience. Humans who undergo this process possess a large store of magicules and a long lifespan. Like all Monsters, have a constitution reliant on magicules. Becoming a Majin comes with an innate affinity for casting magic as well as an extremely high tolerance towards magicules and magic, incomparable to that of their previous self. However, by becoming magical beings, they become susceptible to the purifying effects of Holy Magic.

The big drawback of awakening due to cultivation is that the body doesn't evolve instantly with the soul; it usually takes a long time for the Material Body to fully ascend to a Spiritual state. True Heroes are an exception to this rule, as they practically bypass the "transition phase" by permanently merging with their Elemental Spirits of Light or Darkness.
Saints are terrifyingly powerful individuals. The immense energy along with the strength they wield, in combination with their Spiritual nature, give them the potential to stand on even footing with True Demon Lords and True Heroes. As awakened Spiritual Lifeforms, they host souls strong enough to potentially possess Ultimate Skills as well as extremely long-lived and resilient bodies.
*Incomplete Saints* are those who have awakened and become spiritual lifeforms, but whose flesh has not yet ascended to the same status. Incomplete saints, while possessing greatly boosted energy and abilities, can still said to only be Enlightened physically and possess the weaknesses inherent to the human race such as needing oxygen. The time needed for a Saint to complete this process varies depending on the techniques and talent of the individual.. An incomplete saint can temporarily surpass their limits and gain the status of a complete saint if empowered in certain ways.
*Complete Saints* are those whose body has matched their mental awakening and become almost entirely spiritual in composition. They're freed from human limitations such as needing air, food or rest and they have complete and total control over their body and its functions, able to stop their bleeding and close injuries through sheer willpower. Despite their body being "complete" it has not yet transcended the material entirely and still bears a mortal lifespan, albeit an extremely lengthy one.

*Cultivation* is a method of achieving Awakening that requires individuals to grow stronger manually by training ones Skills, learning and mastering Arts, gathering Energy, fighting strong opponents, and building up experience to cultivate their Body and Mind, pushing themself to break their own mental barrier to awaken. The primary example of cultivation is a Saint, but it works even as a Majin.

*Usurper* is one of the Unique Skills of Hinata Sakaguchi that she obtained upon traveling to the Central World. It specializes in 'robbing', whether it is a Skill or a summon like Elemental Spirits and Demons. Sub-Skills:
-Copy: This main ability allows the user of the skill to copy and obtain the skills of those they are fighting.
-Seize: This main ability allows the user to rob power from their opponents, effectively weakening their skills and Magic. Although this ability only works on those stronger than the user.
-Force Takeover: This requires mastery of the Unique Skill Usurper. It grants the user the ability to rob power even from those weaker than the user.

Slime is a leader of a nation, so of course there will be a lot more meeting. It not an action anime. Never has been. And all of this meeting is necessary to continue for this plot and next plot. Season 2 has over 6 episodes of them just talking. So this is shorter than I expected. So if people complain about not understanding of what going on, or just confuse of what happening then that your guys fault for not paying attention.

Especially because the archbishop was taken out after delivering the message and his story from the battle, he served his purpose smearing Rimuru so now he dies to keep him from telling the truth.
Honestly hard to tell who the main villain of this anime is, assuming there is a main main villain and not just seasonal villains until the end of the show.

If it follows the manga, iirc (and I'm going straight from memory, so could be wrong) there should be hinata's travel and then straight hands for 2 or 3 eps probably

@@lambda3952incorrect sir. The Anime follows the story from the LN. Most of the time the Manga is the same as the LN but sometimes it is not. When the Manga and LN diverges the anime follows the LN.
A great example of this is the walpurgis meeting. In the LN Shion claps Clayman before he evolved. In the Manga it is Milim not Shion. And as we all know the anime had Shion do it. I.e. The anime followed the LN.

@@lambda3952 after Milim stops pretending to be controlled she is the one who messes up Clayman in the manga if memory serves me right. Shion still fights him. But it Milim who finishes him instead of Shion.
Either way, it has long been confirmed that the anime is based off the LN not the manga. What makes it confusing is that the art style used for the anime actually is based from the manga. This was at Fuzes request I have even heard.
