    -------------------------------
Blaise Ubaldini is a versatile and innovative composer known for his diverse musical styles that fuse elements of classical music, improvisation, and rock. He has collaborated with various musicians and bands, pushing the boundaries between theater and music. With a background in Indian studies, he integrates texts and songs into his works, continuously exploring the human experience through music.
The idea for the creation of this work comes from the painting "Black and White Polyptych" by the American painter Jackson Pollock (1912-1956). It is avant-garde music for recorder and piano, employing numerous modern techniques such as circular breathing, double trills, overblowing, flutter-tonguing, etc., to represent the balance between black and white in the painting. At the same time, the music imparts an atmosphere of conflict and contrast to the work.
