I was fortunate enough to meet Robbie a few years ago at the Sydney motorcycle show. As well as mixing it with the public, he also brought his modified motorcycle and rode it in the bay. A real down to earth Aussie and one of the all time greats in his field.
I don't what was more awesome, the killer air or switching from supermoto to knobbie wheels in a split second.
Love the Supermoto slides on pavement and run up the bob sled course all most as much as the jump...wonder how many watching even caught the switch to Motocross Bike for the actual Jump.... This video is ART ! Fabulous -- keep it coming and be safe - it almost like riding again just to watch... AWESOME

That was a suprisingly effective jump at the end.. Went well over the K-line, and a good telemark at the end :D
Changed from street tires to dirt before the jump but that was an epic edit and Robbie is a full on legend.

Thanx, that was a great video. I'm too old now, but there was a day I might have went for the bobsled track, I don't think I'd have ever had the guts for the ski jump though. My dad's 75, he still rides a Triumph Bonneville, (I showed him this vid), we still ride 150 or 200 miles in a day sometimes.

Used two bikes I think
Ya...that would make sense. Probably the wheels needed to be changed (smooth surface and speed to rough road and crazy traction for smooth landing) and suspension, type of bike, etc. The intro was just for effect.
