for tubular fabrics, why does the diameter shrink during dyeing process? for ex a 46" fabric comes out around 41" from dyeing and then needs to be heat set at desired dia.. why does dia shrink during dyeing (talking about single jersey fabrics in particular)
Where could I get material dyed? I’m in the US. I’m trying to figure out who to contact that could I can send material to in order to be dyed and shipped back to me for further processing into a finished product.
Synthetic fabric is a type of textile made from man-made fibers, rather than natural fibers like cotton, wool, or silk. These fibers are usually produced from polymers derived from petrochemicals, such as polyester, nylon, acrylic, and spandex. Synthetic fabrics are designed to mimic the qualities of natural fabrics while often being more durable, elastic, or resistant to wrinkles, moisture, and stains.
