I was just 12 years old, when my mother died. I spent years in grief. Feeling lost and empty. I only found comfort in my faith in God. Music and Dance helped me to keep it together. I am going through the same similar battles I'm 25 went to school for something I love thought after I graduate I would be able to land that job of my dreams but it didn't work out like that. I have so many several attempts, having my own online stores. working in retail which is what my degree is in and now I'm back in school. Different degree and job title every other year. and I'm going through depression, but when I heard this song something spoke to me. It said to me these things come to make us strong and no one can tell me that after I finish with my journey I won't be stronger for having to go through my test and trials. And your testimony is just like mine. And your testimony will be a testimony of the overcomer if you choose it to be. And no amount of praying is going to help if you don't believe what you're praying about. and it also maybe the fact that you need to be in a broken place so he can really speak to you. So often than not he takes you to a place where you feel the lowest of lows so he can build you back up. I grew loving it each and every day because the words just express how I feel at the moment. Growing up I always try doing self-harm. I even struggle with thinking about killing myself, but I was saved. God had other plans for me. He took away my pain and I felt relieved. I felt happy again, I felt loved again. So people who experienced or experiencing pain don't give up because god doesn't give you more than you can bare. I have you all in my prayers so don't worry.

this song describes my life...used to have a bitter life due to a longtime sickness that made me to hate life.It was so painful,i remember i used to have sleepless nights..the devil tormented me so much but my family,especially my mom never stopped praying because she believed that with God,life will be better and better.She encouraged me to put all my trust in God only.I used not to pray not because i did not want to but i was so scared,the devil would threaten me in so many ways but i thank God for the divine intervention.My life is now better and when i face any challenge, i don't get scared like i used to be,i now know how to fight well,i fight through prayers and i know that God is still working on me.My experience made me to understand that God cares and he is there to prove that you can be made be better...even through the pain,the fire and all the trials,keep walking and walking and shame the devil and his company!

Cause there was nobody that was as depressed as I was!!! Nobody in my entire life had ever told me that life got better, and when I heard this song I kept playing it over and over. I am going through the same similar battles I'm 25 went to school for something I love thought after I graduate I would be able to land that job of my dreams but it didn't work out like that. I have so many several attempts, having my own online stores. working in retail which is what my degree is in and now I'm back in school. Different degree and job title every other year. and I'm going through depression, but when I heard this song something spoke to me. It said to me these things come to make us strong and no one can tell me that after I finish with my journey I won't be stronger for having to go through my test and trials. And your testimony is just like mine. And your testimony will be a testimony of the overcomer if you choose it to be. And no amount of praying is going to help if you don't believe what you're praying about. and it also maybe the fact that you need to be in a broken place so he can really speak to you. So often than not he takes you to a place where you feel the lowest of lows so he can build you back up. And the best way to feel better about your situation is to encourage another person who's going through a trying situation that you can make it through if you need somebody to talk to you can Facebook me and we can encourage each other.

I listen to this song like every single day. I can't stop listening to it. I get on RUclips and watch people praise dance to it. I love GOSPEL. My cousin actually got me into this song. Because last year i used to listen to it ever day. But my life changed. So when she praised dance to this song it inspired me. So now i listen to it everyday. For now on i will listen to it until i die. Which will probulay be never.

I can't begin to explain how much I need this song in my life right now. After two years of long suffering just to die, my mother left me. I was angry, I felt hurt and cheated, I'm surprised that I'm still alive. I wanted to die more than anything, I felt as if I was done wrong, but like she said I cried out every night looking for a helping hand, and somehow I came to a happy thought that she no longer has to be plagued by life's worries&illnesses. She is free, and always watching over me.

This song still hits me. I’m a choreographer and when I had my dancers perform this I lost it. I cried so hard bc I can relate to this song much. It touched me deep and their performance was phenomenal. They cried as they danced. I cried and held them when they got off the stage.

I’m 35 and 5 years ago I heard this song and it was was the first time in my life that I’ve ever heard that life gets better. I was sooooooo depressed, I used to cal myself the queen of depression. Cause there was nobody that was as depressed as I was!!! Nobody in my entire life had ever told me that life got better, and when I heard this song I kept playing it over and over. Hearing those words were so foreign to my mind that my response was like it does???? I was sooo shocked that life get better. Cause I’d never experienced the better in life b4. Then the next part that stood out to me was “u must believe” God was giving me the answer to the better, which was believe!!! I had to believe that by better was in Jesus, I had to change ALOT of my thought processs this was a process! Now I’m thriving, rejoicing, living life on the other side of depression and hopelessness, because of Jesus Christ. And I will never go back geeesh those were tormenting years!!!!
My mom is going through so much right now and right now all i can do is just pray for her. My mom and I are both strong people and when one of us reaches our limit best believe its hard. But all i can do is call on the name of Jesus and Pray and believe that it will get better in the name of Jesus. I realize that God has a plan for everyone on this Earth we just have to walk and stay with the Lord and believe that it will get better. Yes I cried for my mom i hate to see my mom struggle. But God is the only one that CAN and WILL make it better.
