Great video! I have been looking for a new soap. I am going to try these. Do they have a residue feeling or a dry feeling after use? I like soaps that leave no lotion feeling?
I absolutely hate the lotion feel that is left from some soaps. I know it can have to do with your water type, but I get no leftover feel from this soap at all
Sounds great. The application is usually on the hot blood areas of the skin. Neck, inner elbows, or wrists. The dabbing just weakens the scent, but not an issue for you. Back of the neck is a great spot. I go heavier mainly because I am a cologne guy and love heavy scents. Thanks for the video. Sorry for the long comment 🙂
I’m so happy you did an update video. I wanted to try the soap after your first video and totally forgot. I’m definitely going to try the soap and the Cologne.
I’ve tried the soap and love it , sweet tobacco and the sandalwood are the 2 I have tried and absolutely loved them and one bar lasts me almost 2 months , I’m gonna order some cologne right now I dig the scents so much.
Great video Dan those soaps look amazing and the scents sound great aswell , matching cologne is a great idea I don’t wear much cologne unless going out , I like the scent in my beard , I’m the same as you with cologne on wrist 2 Sprays dap to together works for me , great to see companies pushing forward soap looks amazing 🤝
I checked out their soap not long after seeing your videos. I really liked the soap, great size for the price and good scents. Not my favorite bar soap I've used, I'll likely stick with soap from my faborite beard companies. By the way, I noticed Man Bar was in Cracker Barrel's general store, which is pretty cool!
Very fair and well said. If I had to only keep one soap forever, it would likely be one with essential oils only, probably cold start. However, these are an amazing addition in the rotation, especially to feel special for like date nights
First - Awesome hat, one of my favorite. I have been following Man Bar Soap for a little while now. I enjoy bar soaps and thinking about giving them a try. Great review Dan
sounds like the spice is coming from the Cardamom, which smells earthy and sweet, I love the smell of Cardamom, especially in coffee and tea! It's one of the key elements in the fragrance Yves Saint Laurent La Nuit De L'Homme. Dabbing is fine, just as long as you're not rubbing the fragrance from one wrist to the other, that's what causes heat and friction which messes with the fragrance molecules and effects the smell and longevity. I also spray on the back of my hand (for some reason I get the best smell from that area!) and sides of the neck too.
Dan, I don’t have social media and had an unrelated question And I figured this was the quickest way to get a hold of you. Is it possible that beard oil from the same company but with different sent profiles will style differently?? It may be my imagination, but it seems like sometimes a beard oil With one cent profile will style nicely. But a few days later, a different beard oil From the same company, but a different scent doesn’t style as well… Specifically, the hair won’t lay down as well. Even using the same techniques and routine. I guess I could chalk this up to a bad beer day… Like your other videos says
Hey Dan. This may seem like an odd question to ask but I haven’t used bar soap on my body in years. I typically go with a body wash. What is the best way to apply bar soap in the shower to maximize the effectiveness of the soap? Is it with a wash cloth? Just lather in hands and apply with hands? Directly with the bar? Interested in trying this soap since that sage and bergamot scent sounds right up my alley. Thanks for another great video!
I stay with my beard company. Beard octane for the win. The Cologne is simply lex for sure. But I am glad there's another choice for others! Stay hairy and keep Sasquatch jealous!!
Maybe I'm lost but a beard, isn't a cologne smell. I've toured the beats when it involves beard oils, balms, soaps and of course butters. I love and am an original fan of cologne well prior to beards. Am I crazy to not wonder about this? Tell me I'm wrong! Please!
Hey just curious, shall we include our stache with our beard? So if i put beard wash, oil, butter on my beard, shall i also include my stache with all of that? Is the hair on both the same type ig?
@DanCBearded sorry I probably phrased that wrong. Man Bar does not ship here sadly. I was more asking for companies that do ship here and have similar products.

I love watching companies grows and scale in the ways that just make sense (no pun intended 😂)
Haha well played

Excellent video Dan! Thanks for the info!
Thanks Saad!

Soap and cologne combo is a really cool idea! I know Iowa Beard Co has some matching soap, cologne, oil, and butters that match
That’s great!
Such a cool idea! I often wished the scent from bar soaps would last all day.
Agreed fully! Not all the time, but it’s nice on some occasions

Thanks Donald! My current favorite hat
I like the silver sage and sandalwood fragrances. The midnight amber was hard for me not to get but I agree it's a younger man's scent.
Great feedback, thank you!!
@@DanCBearded oddly enough I found them at the VA Hospital store... thats where I tried them all out
@newyorkdominicanking super interesting!

Oh snap, good to know! Thank you sir
@@DanCBearded I'm full of weird, wonderful and sometimes irrelevant information lol. You're very welcome sir, I hope you have a great day! 😁
Great video & review!
Keep it up Dan!
Thanks!!
Another great Video. Thanks for the insights!
Thank you!
Nice. I have found a new love/obsession with scents. Are the soaps moisturizing by chance?
I do not believe so, but I’m not positive
Dan,

Sorry… I dictate all my text messages and it doesn’t always pick up exactly what I say
Yes, absolutely fragrance oils and/or essential oils can impact styling
Dan,
Great! Thanks a lot for That.
*** Feel free to use that as a topic for a video in the future if you like.

It’s a great question! I got bar to body. I’m not sure if that’s best but works for me

Choices are an amazing thing to have!

Tell me I'm wrong! Please!
I don’t understand what you are asking or saying. “A beard, isn’t a cologne smell” I don’t follow
I love Man Bar.
That’s awesome to hear! I’m not sure how many have tried the company so cool to hear from someone who has!
Hey just curious, shall we include our stache with our beard? So if i put beard wash, oil, butter on my beard, shall i also include my stache with all of that? Is the hair on both the same type ig?
Yes, absolutely. The mustache is treated just like the rest of the facial hair
Man bar soaps are incredible
Agreed!
That's a massive bar of soap!
Big steeeeeeew! And yes, block of soap!
Can there bar soaps be used as a once a week stripping soap for your beard? Thanks
Yes, absolutely! Just wouldn’t recommend more than that
why bring your wrists together instead of spraying both wrists?
I’m not really sure Leo, good question to ask myself. Just one of those “how I have always done it” type things
Not a cologne guy myself, most affect my allergies. Everyone mash that 👍
Oh interesting! I can totally see that with allergies
@@DanCBearded not sure what ingredients do it. Some I'm OK with but most hit me pretty good.
Good morning
Morning my friend!
Anything like this that ships to England/UK?
I believe so, yes
@DanCBearded sorry I probably phrased that wrong. Man Bar does not ship here sadly. I was more asking for companies that do ship here and have similar products.
@moxar2220 the soap from beard octane would be perfect!
