I'm here with the same exact thought, there are not a lot of great options out there for the 797 although it's my understanding that the mounting points are the same between the two!
Guys, knowing Ducati, I`m sure they are the same. In worst case scenario, the lash that holds the exhaust to the fame can always be adjusted with the right tools
Second this! I bought a Nightshift about a month ago and I'm ready to get a new slip-on. Did you end up purchasing? Do you have pictures? How do you like it?
For the price and sound, seems like a no brainer. I was looking into the other Termi but not sure it's worth the price when this one is also an option. Plus it looks way better. How is it with the db out, riding around town? Ridiculous? Lol
Agree with that. Around town without a DB it sounds like thunder!! Hahaha Rumbling and echoing, definitely attracts attention. However, on the long trips gets annoying. It's easy to take the DB out though, just two screws.
I think it`s because DS has a bit different swing arm compared to the other Scramblers. This changes the mounts that hold the exhaust... But I`m not sure, gotta check the forums. Glads to know that you figured it out with the bracket!
@24buffon Nope, absolutely like i said - no worries. I was doing it for the first time as well. Just take some precautions of not scratching the new exhaust while you put it on. And sprinkle it with WD-40 before first start to coat it in some protective layer
You will need a remap only if you installed a free flow air-filter with it. If not, there is no need. W40 is always a good idea ahahahah. You can lube the exhaust and the mounting points before...inserting. Good luck
Drool .. Werkes No DB killer wow talk about ballsy sounding - Seriously BAD ASS. This sounds very similar to my dads '76 SS 900 with straight pipes.
Thanks for this!
eargasm
This sounds amazing. Tbh it’s actually the best sounding exhaust for the Ducati 800.
Wonder if it’s the same mounting points for the monster 797

Looking to put this on my Scrambler Nightshift :D
Oww! I think the black one will look awesome on Nightshift. You can also wrap up the pipes to make them look black and beefy like mine :D

Do the exhaust need mapping after install it? Or just slip on without mapping?
this sound like a best song!!! Like this: Rainbow - Stargazer
Man, this stargazer is a frikin awesome song! Holy shit!! Thanks

Did you remap or have fuel controller? I installed this on my scrambler cafe racer and I’m getting some pops
Didn`t remap, no fuel control. There were some pops, yes. But later i installer a high flow air filter and everything came to normal
I have a cafe racer and am looking to get this exhaust. Did you figure out the issue?
Hello. I love this! Do you need a remap for this exhaust?
No, just plug and play, all ready for use
@@VMFKaiserSosa very nice. Thank you
He's literally a russian spy. Read the news.
No db killer 😍👍
How do you remove the db killer
Is it homologated for Europe or it is just for race track?
just for race-track and smth like "not for use in California", no EU homologation
Wow, I think i want it! Did you have to remap? New sub!
It’s a slip on, no tenso needed.
I have a desert sled, says it doesn't fit. Anyone have an answer as to why? If all I have to do is fabricate a bracket...Done.

It fit perfectly from shop ? or need to do some cuts or something ?
Fits perfectly, like zero effort installing it, took me like 10 min or so

@24buffon yepp, undoing the factory bolts was the most challenging part lol. Gald you made it! Enjoy
I need remapping and also thibking of getting W40 worth it?

Need for remapping?
No, not necessarily. The bike runs perfectly without it
Does it lose compression when When you ship down for a stop
after 5k miles on this slip on haven`t notice anything of this, no compression loss, everything is as smooth as butter
je préfère l’échappement d'origine !!
oui, c'est joli, mais calme
