It’s been so long since me watching you, had lots of school work but hopefully everyone is doing well and happy holidays everyone, Merry Christmas to you if you celebrate 🎉
I love the vintage look of the paintings, very beautiful. The gold paint really added to the vintage gilded look, especially in the painting of (what I believe is) hellebores.
I loved them, I appreciate you showing your work, the process is a delight, you inspire me, and above all you keep me improving. Thanks. greetings from México
You really captured the essence of the flower in those delicate transitions of pink green. Gorgeous work. From one artist to another, you are quite inspiring ❤
it means the colour is very bright, strong, and stand out @@very_well12 You might want to search on the internet with longer keyword, since one word could have different meanings based on the context. "vibrant colour" might be a good keyword to search more.
Thank you so much for making these! I was feeling sick and fell asleep watching another video but woke up to you painting my favorite flower, daffodils! You made my day so much better!
More like a guache (my spelling is butchered Ik) stick. It reminds me of that because the color and opacity. It acts like a mix of acrylic and watercolor.
@@maddogmadison6379 hmm.. it definitely looks like a gouache when it’s ground out. though, it is definitely meant to be used like a watercolor. gouache is still a bit different
@@strawberrieqq yeah I know, it’s just the opacity was so rich that it almost didn’t feel like a watercolor cause that opacity is rare to find since it’s meant to be a more transparent medium.
@@maddogmadison6379 oooh gotcha gotcha! makes sense. i agree though, they have such an opaque color when first ground out that it is hard to believe they’re meant to act like watercolor!
@@maddogmadison6379 I like my Inktense (water soluble ink made by Derwent) because they can be used somewhat like watercolor but they don't lift once they dry. Since I like to layer, it suits my style better than watercolors.
There is so much wastage while grinding the sticks. wish they had a palette where we could grind them directly in the wells of the palette. Plus that fineliner brush is just awesome.!!! The video to the link for the materials is no linger available. Could you please provide the link for your brushes? I would really like the fineliner and the white mop like brush used at 27:10 . They look awesome.
Oh thank god I wasn’t the only one. You normally use them out of the well you grind it in and go color by color. It was annoying me when she poured what would come out then wiped the majority away. Then she switched to the plate and I was like oh yay she won’t waste them and put them on their individual plates! Then she poured it into the flower one and did what she did before. It was killing me inside. It was such a waste of resources and I was like they aren’t your resources but it probably cost a lot of money but again it’s not your resources and people use them how they want to use them. A good video overall but my heart couldn’t take the beginning 🥲
@@maddogmadison6379 Exactly, I actually dont like going coour by colour which is why I wish they had a palette where we could grind them directly. And when she continued to pour them like that, it was killing me inside too. They are soo expensive and so good, just hate to seem so much of it go to waste.
I love your videos, they help me relax and feel at ease. But I’m also so fascinated how you use your colors. One minute I’m like “no way these colors will work together” but then you do some magic and “wow! They look amazing!”
Interesting that it's possible to spread the ink so easily once applied, by useing a brush loaded with only water. I keep trying, somewhere unsuccessfully, to do this with water colour paint!
this is *THE* packaging i want to buy it just because of it also i am a fan of watercolor-like painting style so i am kinda interested as a painter myself
Wow girl you’re so talented this is so Beautiful. I’ve never seen anything like this before and the music playing in the background, made the whole experience so much better. Thank you for sharing this with us😍🥰❤️❤️
while grinding the black sticks, how do you do when you get to the letters? I mean, they're have different colors, do you grind it either? the colors of the letters doesn't affect the black ink?
Are you in my head?! Lol been watching kdrama The Red Sleeve and every time they had a scene where they grind something I wondered what the big black bar they were holding is for lol
I have a question the ink that you used in your glass dip pen art is there any name to that particular ink I never saw anyone making line first then adding water to spread the color (I am a bit new to drawing so I don't know much about it)
Wow The color of paint made by grinding ink stick is so beautiful!! Of course, I think you can make it more thick, right? But your fingers would be ache a lot🤣🤣 Thank you for the attractive drawing and joined you and liked👍

this is my first time seeing ink sticks! very interesting and i really love how vibrant the colour
What means vibrant how u can explain it to me with simple words.
I searched on yandex translate it means vibration. How colour can vibrate😂😂😂 idk

Seeing the beauty of your artwork makes me want to get back into being an artist.
My favorite parts have to be the sound, and watching the liquid slowly fill with pigment. Just amazing!

This is so beautiful! I think this would be wonderful bookmarks or to stick with wind chimes.
This made me wish there was this kind of art supply in my country, I've never seen this here before! And it's so beautiful what you've done with it!!
From practical perspective, those sticks are just "harder" watercolors. But the colors cannot be compared. The sticks colors looks so full of life.

You need a miniature silicone spatula to get every last drop of those lovely inks off the inkstone!

The art supplies are art also. I love these videos so much.
Stunning beautiful artwork ‼️💯💕🥰
You honestly have the prettiest art supplies 😊
