    I'm glad you picked the Wadden Sea for the Netherlands, but what's impressive about it is not that it's 'a pleasant coastline' but the fact that it's full of tidal flats and wetlands, creating an area that's extremely rich in biodiversity and constantly changing with the tides

    Even though Trinidad and Tobago has some of the nicest coastline, I would have chosen the Pitch lake as the most impressive geographical feature. The Pitch Lake is the largest natural deposit of asphalt in the world, estimated to contain 10 million tons. It is located in La Brea in southwest Trinidad, within the Siparia Regional Corporation. The lake covers about 100 acres and is reported to be 250 feet deep

    • @philtarpehdixon7441
      @philtarpehdixon7441 28 дней назад +5

      For starters, the Atlantic would be the largest ocean on Earth as there would be no pesky Africa landmass dividing it from the Indian Ocean. Meanwhile, the scramble for Africa would have been quite different as a scramble for Hawaii seems like a much shorter venture.

    • @HoV326
      @HoV326 27 дней назад +2

      @philtarpehdixon7441 If anything, the scramble for Africa would probably be conducted by Asian powers rather than European powers this time. It might also take longer for America to be found by Europeans, considering if the Crusades still happen the way they do, Europeans wouldn't have to go around Africa or find an alternate route to get there.

      I have got to agree with you, having been to both and visiting the lakes more for its proximity, but the lakes has nothing on the highlands, effectively being a small sample of it. I'm sure the creator picked it as he went there rather than the Highlands as the Lakes is probably closer for him, despite the fact that the Highlands is so much bigger and contains everything the lakes has and so much more.
