Sooo... I got unexpectedly hit in the face by intense Rogue One feelings. I haven't had anything even resembling real inspiration in about five months and I certainly didn't expect it to come in the form of a movie I only started so I had something to watch while (failing at) knitting, but I guess the Force works in unexpected ways.
(My five year old crush on Diego Luna has of course nothing to do with it.)
Anyways, I can't decide if I like this thing or if it's just a huge mess. Probably both. I hope you enjoy :)

Andor S1 has brought back all my old Rogue One feels and sent me looking for fanvids... somehow even though I'm subscribed to you I missed this amazing tribute! This is haunting and beautiful, and captures both the tragedy and the triumph of the story perfectly. ❤️
Wooow okay I loved this! The moments where the voices overlapped each other? Awesome! "You will never win" was already 10/10 but followed by "you've lost" with the parallel parents/daughter? *-* I died! Loved the vid! Thanks!

this was amazing! i loved so many things about this. (i have... no film analysis background, so please forgive the lack of proper vocabulary to describe things XD )
1. the integration of the movie audio was incredible. sometimes i get jarred watching fanvids during the switches from music to script, but it was incredibly smooth here. really, your editing skills in this regard are superb.
2. how the fudge did you find such an absolutely perfect song for jyn? it's nearly biographical, damn. well done!
moments that were so good i need to point them out:
1. "not a problem if you don't look up" contrasted against the death star eclipse over jedha.
2. ~1:50-ish: the montage of krennic-galen-saw-galen marching (and the matching grates!)
3. slicing the audio of "you're not the only one who lost everything" with kay dying: EFFING BRUTAL, wow do you even care about how you're destroying my heart here
4. overlapping lyra's and galen's "you will never win": CHILLS
5. "you on the other hand: die" with bodhi's death
6. the splicing of krennic-lyra-krennic getting shot
7. seriously, your song selection is goddamn magnificent

I'd never heard of Laura Marling before. I could almost believe she wrote the song about Rogue One.
