For people who don’t use metric: 2 sticks softened butter 3/4 cup light brown sugar 1/3 cup of granulated sugar 2 large eggs 2 tsp vanilla 2 1/4 cup of plain/all purpose flour 1 tsp baking/bicarbonate soda 1 tsp salt 2 cups chocolate chips (or as many as u wish) 1/4 cup chocolate chips on top (or as u wish) Bake: 320F - 25 min Enjoy!🍪
Actually I’d argue that’s much preferable than it being over bake. Typically you’re supposed to “underbake” your cookies, as they will continue to cook even after you take them out of the oven (residual heat left in the cooked bc surprise surprise, that heat doesn’t vanish the moment they’re out of the oven). Basically if they look completely done out of the oven, then they are over baked and when they cool they will end up crunchy and hard as a rock. I know from experience 😭 Basically the golden rule in a typical recipe is to take em out when the edges have just set and the tops have started to brown. That way you’ll have a cookie that will remain soft and pleasant to eat long after it cools. And don’t worry about samonella girl I assure you that at that point after like 10 minutes of being in a very hot oven any bacteria that was in there had been dead and buried 😭😭😭
My mom makes something similar, except we don’t measure in grams because that’s a pain. Also we don’t have one of those scale thingies. I just know that there is 3 sticks of butter in ours for a pan. They are SO GOOD.
@@actuallywhatimeant2583 Because it takes forever to translate cups to grams, and why would I do that if it means the same thing, just more annoying to calculate.
Eat this with vanilla ice-cream and melt in the dream world ^_^ You can also drink it with coffee. When I eat it without ice cream I feel like it's really strong/ chocolaty
@@ToxicKvrma that makes no sense. You literally adjust the temperature of the oven. If you set one oven to 400, it's 400 degrees. If you set a different oven to 400, it's 400 degrees
I made a variation of this purely by accident while trying to make regular cookies. They all kinda melted and fused together into one big rectangle, and it was the happiest accident I've had in a long time.
Seriously, who has the time to put down chips one at a time? Yup it looks delicious!!! But one at a time? Completely impractical on a mom or pro level.
I just tried this and it was good but I already baked it for 50 mins and the inside is still undercooked and wet, usually I like my cookies/brownie/idk a bit undercooked but this one is wet not in a good way so I tried adding more heat and now it's in good texture (cooked but slightly under) but tastes a bit burnt
There are some ingredients you can swap out for eggs. Fruit purees like applesauce or smashed banana, starches like potato or tapioca flour, mucus making seeds like flax or chia, etc. Some substitutes depend on how or what you're using them for, but there's plenty info to search for, for very easy and quick swaps. Then you can customize whatever recipe you want! I love playing with swaps
This does look really good (and I’m probably going to make it later 🍪🍪🍪), but as a cookie baker myself I have to disagree. Nothing is better than a cookie 🍪🍪🍪❤️❤️❤️
