This is great! I like how she matches her sisters and mom more now. And the lack of sleeves gives her more freedom and comfort. And these boots would be more functional for when she gardens. Bravo!
Oh my gosh, i love this design! Hearing your ideas behind it was really fun, and it turned out very well. She looks lovely. The use of a similar color scheme to her dye-stained dress in the movie is a smart choice and looks really pretty hehe 💕
Yes, finally, a fellow Isabela stan! I’m sick of the fandom only loving Camilo and Bruno! I love this design as well and I think it does a good job at showing her relationship with both of her families. I just wish it also had some pink on it. YES YES YES about femininity! The moment you said that line, j gasped, overjoyed to finally have a likeminded soul, and paused the video to subscribe instantly! Well done on the final design. That’s the dress all right.
I love this redesign! I’m glad that you made sure to study up and take inspiration from Columbian dresses, and that you stuck with her new color pallet at the end of the movie. I also really loved Isabela, I relate to her a lot with trying to be perfect to help her family and make them proud. She deserves a chance to truly explore and find herself and I like that you mentioned that this redesign of her dress could just be her stepping off point for that discovery.
"there's a lot of countries to make movies of, come one!" my Brazilian ass, banging pots and pans: BRAZILIAN REPRESENTATION PLEASE!!! (no, seriously, I would cry for a movie with Brazilian representation, specially if it helped remind people that, differently from most latino countries, we were colonized by Portugal, not Spain, so we differ a lot from our neighbors)
As an Puerto Rican thank you for mentioning that fact that in our culture we need to hope for more representation because besides miles morales there’s not much and I hate when we do have representation the stereotypes the we say wepa every 5 minutes sucks

This dress is AMAZING! i hope Isabela becomes an artist in the future. The way she uses her powers to create cool designs for herself is beautiful.
That dress is so pretty, and you put so much thought into it!
