Giant Statues - The Reflection Section

This week's #ReflectionSection was led by Mr Hayden who explores the topic of sculpture, and in particular looks at giant statues around the world. He explores how they can highlight religious and secular power, and conversely also reflect both the permanence and transitory nature of that power.
Our weekly "Reflection Section" is a period of time every Friday where we learn from someone in our community. It could be a member of staff, a student, a parent or an alumni. The only rule is that the topics are from outside the curriculum - sometehing "interesting, quirky and fascinating".
