Connect Two Monitors to Mac Studio

- In this video I have shown how to connect two non-Apple monitors to the New Mac Studio. I used a DVI to USB-C (Thunderbolt 4) connector to connect one monitor and an HDMI cable to connect the other. @letsreview1150

Man it should not be this difficult to get a second monitor working for a $2000 product
I totally agree. I'm even having trouble with the native ethernet port on the back. I bought a Caldigit TS4 and oh boy does the Apple hate it. It's painfully obvious that Apple needs to shuffle things up at the top of management.
Where 'd you find one for only $2000?
Both my monitors are $300.
thank-you!!
Great! How can I connect mac studio with iPad when HDMI is also busy? Thanks
hi and thx. good video. could you do a mac studio review please? subscribed and liked
Thanks for posting, this is good to see. Do you have any troubles with macOS "forgetting" the monitor arrangement? I have two identical Asus monitors connected to my Mac Studio: one via the built-in HDMI, and another via a USB-C (Thunderbolt) to HDMI adapter. Randomly after Sleep / Wake cycles, the OS will completely forget the arrangement I created in System Preferences > Displays > Arrange and I'll have to re-do it. Super, super annoying. Just curious if you've run into this problem as well?
sorry for my late reply. No I do not have any such issues yet. However, sometimes, the one connected to the HDMI port takes a few seconds to come up. It is not always, just some random times.
I had that issue on all macs up to including my current MBP M1 Pro Max. I swapped one monitor for a slightly different one, „solved“ the issue. Many reports about that online, macos can't differentiate among monitors that are the same model (presumably excluding the Mac Studio, but I don't know that for sure).
I just finished setting up my Mac Studio with 3 Asus VE278monitors - these monitors have HDMI, DVI, Mini display ports and VGA inputs - with speakers and Picture in picture. I have 3 macs including an intel silver tower, the black can and the new mac studio. My goal was/is to run the black can for older apps and music - internet stuff.
The black can is connected to the monitors via the DVI ins - all 3 using Dvi to minidisplay port adapters - 2 of which are the Mac powered Mini display to DVI white brick. - currently all 3 monitor work sphinx me the can and its world running OS 10.15.
Meanwhile the new MAC studio hooks up via HDMI into all 3 monitors - BUT in need 1 adapter !!!- I use the HDMI port direct to one monitor, the other 2 monitors use an OWC USB C to 2 HDMI adapter that requires a software called Display Link Manager in order to recognize the remaining two connected HDMI monitors. I figured this out this past Sunday. Today I discovered after spending 4000 the mac studio is not as flexible as this sounds - I did not want to use all my Bolt ports but I guess that is a way to to it as well and use the Mac display software.
So now I have 3 monitor on both computers. I'm thinking of getting a 34 inch Lg monitor for the center screen and use 2 ASUS 27 on either side…
Good Luck…Dan
How many inch are your monitors?
Both are 21 inches
pathetic poor setup. Looks nasty.
