Hello from Texas! I love pink and everything new in the Spring. I’m so glad I found your channel. You are a precious gem! My hubby and I make the bed together when we rise at 5:00 a.m., go to kitchen for coffee, and get him off to work. Then, I shower and get ready for work as a Special Ed teacher. Although I’ve always wiped bathroom sink after getting ready, I’m adding swish and swipe to my morning routine. Between the two of us, I only need to do laundry on Saturday. I have old evening routines of mail and vacuuming, but I am adding shine your sink to evening routine after supper dishes and setting the coffee pot. I do see the benefit of the timer and zone cleaning. I am anxious to create a zone calendar and declutter as we “empty nesters” bought a smaller house a year ago. I need to let go of a lot of things. I appreciate you❣️

Love the FlyLady routines! I'm a work from home mom and I also homeschool my son who is autistic. My morning routine begins at 6 am, when both my husband and I wake up to workout for 30-50 minutes before showering, getting dressed, and having breakfast. A load of laundry is then thrown in the wash, breakfast dishes are washed, and the table is cleared. By 8:30 I'm totally done with my morning routine and can then get my son ready for his therapy that starts at 9 (it's in our home). We spend any time remaining before his therapist arrives working on our homeschooling tasks. Then when she gets here, I start on my to do list for the day. My favorite season is spring because all of the flowers that bloom as well as the powerful thunderstorms we experience here in North Texas. My favorite color is green.
Thank you for another great video. I'm working on my morning routine because I'm home all day. I'm an early riser, sometimes too early because my fibromyalgia will wake me up. Somemornings like today, I wake up at 3:30 or 4 and need to climb in a hot tub just to move. Then I sit on the couch and do what I need to do on the computer. My alarm goes off at 5:30 a.m. and that's when I start my day officially. I dress to shoes and then feed the dogs and give the diabetic one his insulin. When they're done I make myself a protein smoothie, take my meds and get started. Doesn't take me more than 45 minutes even with breaks in between. Love starting the day with the house clean! My favorite season is also Spring for the same reasons. As for a favorite color, I really don't have one. I like purple and green and yellow. Bright colors, I guess. Cheery ones.
Thanks to your friendly encouragement, I am staying on top of my routines, and I love how it feels! My favorite season is autumn, because the weather is still warm and the leaves here turn the most glorious colors! My favorite colors are blues & aquas - so restful, but I also like a pop of lemon yellow for cheerfulness sometimes!💙💛💙

Hi Diane! I love watching you every time! :-) And I love how you are always so put together and stylish! So evening routine DONE, very basic, I am expecting only 4 steps from myself (2 min before bed hotspot, prepare outfit, get ready for bed/unwind, go to bed at decent hour..+ bonus 5th shining my sink also done but not mandatory for me) I do realize that the "trick" would be to do all this a lot earlier than my actual bed time when I am too exhausted for anything, but it's not always an option. Favorite time of the year, whenever there is SUN - LIGHT and WARMTH so Summer-Spring-Autumn (and some nice crisp sunny winter days) Summer is probably my favorite because it is full blown Sun/Heat and I love how everything slows down, especially those days where the city is a desert and it seems surreal...like ghost towns...everything is still, times seems to stop, and you feel like you have all the time for everything (which is just an illusion of course) there is mostly silence and I feel Nature's presence as overpowering in a good way...Spring is renewal, possibility, freshness, colors perfumes flowers the shedding of all that is stale...autumn are more colors of nature, wood and trees, a symbol of change and new beginnings, it's still for me the real beginning of the "year" since school time, fresh new notebooks and pencils... I don't have a favorite color, it changes with the shade and hue and if it is a color to wear or a color for the house or other...ciao bella a domani!

There have been days when I haven't gotten my routine done until afternoon, and been too embarrassed about it to say anything. There have also been days when if I didn't get it done early enough in my book, I haven't done the morning routine at all, because I felt like I missed the window or whatever. And other days that I do the minimum AM routine but not the full routine (I have my ideal AM routine and then versions where I do less). We have four kids, and I'm home with 3 of them now and maybe I'm letting that be an excuse, but maybe I really am legitimately busy after all. Your words have liberated me from feeling bad about myself not getting it 'right' by finishing my AM routine at a certain time. Bless you. Oh and my favorite time of year is Fall and favorite color is hard to say. I like a few and can't decide. Red has always been a favorite, but I love turqoise and teal and Tiffany blue as well. Also grey. Heck, also dark greens, like hunter green, emerald green... xo

Dressing to shoes and shining my sink comes easy. It is the swish and swipe that is a bit more difficult. But I will get onto it. My favourite season is also spring and I am also a spring !! I am so happy you mentioned the timer yesterday. My problem with routines is in the evening. Keeping this in mind last evening I started out just ten minutes earlier, but moved quicker that a slug, which is what I normally do, and I felt like okay I can get this done and get to bed early, and I did it. I have managed to have a shiny sink in the evenings, and pickup things in 5 minutes, but the taking the time to properly get ready for bed has not happened. Until last night, and what a good feeling it was. Since I had this all shut down for the night I can share that my favorite movie is McClintock with John Wayne. I first saw it in a theater and have watched it every year during the holidays ever since it has been available. My boys, now 35 and 33 still watch it with their families. My favorite smell is being in the mountains after a rain shower. Fresh and clean. Needless to say I am a cowgirl!! Yes, I love nature but the house needs are being met now thanks to the 31 babysteps and this system. Go you!!!!
I'm doing great on my morning routine. My evening routine is what I am working on for this challenge and I am struggling with the room rescue for 5 mins, for whatever reason it overwhelms me, I think I am just going to take it off my routine but it can be something I can do if I want to. Keeping it simple. My favorite season is Summer, I love BBq's , camping, swimming, sleeping a little later because kids are out of school and I actually work at a school, Vacation Bible school, summer camps, Lots of fun stuff.
I love the Fall....cool crisp air...and I love purple...and other jewel tones too. I actually painted my bedroom a deep red and have purple sage and golds in the room and I love it!

My evening routine of shining my sink is getting along better, as my daughter is having to do less and less because I am finishing more of the nightly dish duty. Good morning! Yesterday I was sluggish but I did it but not done well. Today seems better. I keep my sink clean even though I had three different breakfasts going. Sink done, bed done, going for the shower now off to a late start. My favorite color is aqua and my favorite time is fall although I love spring and it is so refreshing. Fall also is refreshing with the coolness in the air after the hot summer days. Kids going back to school, fresh baking, apple picking, it all feels so exciting. The color changes of leaves in Michigan are magnificent! It is exciting although winter is creeping in. I love the reds, oranges, and yellow of fall.
I love Spring because everything comes to life...but I love the fall for the crisp air and the color changes on the leaves! fave color: pink and like you as well not to wear...to wear I prefer neutrals with some pops of color. have a blessed day flybabies!!
I'm working on my evening routine as well as the morning routine. I'm very proud to say that both are going on well. You're right, you know, when you say that if you take 4 hrs, it will take you 4 hrs or more! When I have to wake up earlier than my usual time, I have 30 minutes to get prepared: exercise, shower, dress to shoes, out the door - the balance of the routine will be done when I come back. My favorite season is the fall (here it's Sept/Oct). I love to dress up warmly and bring down the windows in the car. Ha! the difference in temp is wow, so refreshing. Great advice, I came in from a night shift , showered and cleaned my teeth swished and swiped my loo and sink , came down received my online grocery shop ,put it away , hung out my load of washing that I had set on a timer overnight . Then went to bed . It's true what you say, just crossing it off helps . I'm usually the type if I can't do it 'properly ' I give up . So I make sure I take each day at a time now and it works for me brilliantly . Thanks Diane for your time:)

My favourite season is spring . I love seeing the first sign of new flowers coming up and the blossom on the trees . My favourite colour is purple . I used the stop watch setting today and my morning routine took an hour and a half which includes taking the dog around the block . Felt good to just get it done rather then sit and watch tv and procrastinate about if . Thank you. .
I love your videos and it's like you're talking right to me sometimes, days 1 and 2 were definitely more motivating! But I'm glad you mentioned not to worry about the time I finish, as I have two very young ones at home and I found that trying to finish my morning routines by a certain time (or in a certain amount of time) was actually giving me more stress. I have all kinds of interruptions that come in different times of the day, whether I can't start making the bed because the baby is still sleeping, to deciding not to shower until they nap, etc etc. Doing it all before anyone wakes up isn't ideal since I try to get as much sleep as I can, plus we usually have a morning nursing session, getting daughter off to school. It's really...really hard to get things done with this age, and I know they are more important than any routine, so thank you for making it ok for me to not have to be finished by 8, 9, even 11am.
I've been following you for a while Diane, but only just found your Seven Day Challenge. My morning routine will be done within 4 moves if getting out of bed (shortly!). Really enjoying your videos Diane, although not sure I'm watching in the right order. But when you put a new one on it's too tempting to watch it! Sink is always shiny at the moment and kitchen sides clear. Morning routine is easier after setting the alarm 15 mins earlier. But not quite got a sense of the full week / months plans so need to do more FlyLady reading and figure it out. Hate snow and cold so my favourite season is spring when we leave that dark horrible weather behind and there is colour and light again. Favourite colour varies but I tend to like turquoise, pinks, greys. Thanks for the videos x

Don’t know if you go back and read comments attached to older videos, but I am working on a 7-day challenge to get my bahookie out of bed (which means fully awake and functioning) by 6:30 each morning. I am usually conscious by 5:45 or 6:00, but functioning is where I need to work. Once up, I have no trouble with dressing, bed made, breakfast, LOL, etc., but actually establishing a time habit has been eluding me. Day 1 down, yay, go me. I just watched your day 2 video, and I’m gonna cheer a little and say I love the smell of orange and ginger from a Bath and Body Works line called Energy. That seems to be just what I need to get me moving. In candles, body wash, and lotion. So glad a friend gave me some as a gift. And fav movie: Paul Newman and Robert Redford...just about anything they ever did together...their timing and chemistry are perfect. And I did like Ant Man which my son suggested.

My morning routine, day three done - go me. Favorite season: Fall. Favorite color: this is a tough one, I have to pick two - royal blue or purple! Reason Fall is my favorite season: I live in the oppressive, intolerable heat and humidity of the southern United States from April through October, so the first cool non-humid weather in the Fall is divine, it makes me feel so energized. Plus, my birthday is in October, so that's another reason to have it be my favorite. Ha.

This is the most recent comment in one year! I feel that this is a Brand New Video for me so I will post. I WATCHED ALL of the 31 Days of Baby Steps. Yes! I was one of those who you warned about. I wanted to watch all of them so that I could see what I was getting into. I was a fly baby years ago, and I fluttered quite a bit. However, I have deviated and my best routine was not having one! Not good! I'm a Messy. I love Clean...but I'm messy. We are Snowbirds for 5 months. It's a good thing that I love to leave the house clean, so that when I get back I can just unpack. Because we had some out of town guests that needed to stay at our house while we were away.No problem. So thankful it was clean and organized. HOWEVER, when we returned and I began unpacking and trying to incorporate ALL the things I had brought back I had a big mess! It was as if a Tornado came through!..I BINGE watched your videos until I finally was motivated to get up and moving! I have made my control journal and set some routines, and am in my 3rd day of following ALL of my morning routines. BABY STEPS. I've also added Decluttering, and the Home Blessing to Monday. It's my day off today- I allowed myself to oversleep to help my emotions to calm down. My morning route took longer then normal but I'm ok with that- I got it done! I just stayed focused. My favorite time of year is late Spring/early summer. My favorite color is a light turquoise.
I used to have problems with my morning routine, but then I deceided to do the swish and swipe as part of my before-bed-routine and it works much better for me. I actually love every season, but I could do without the months of November and February - usually just a row of grey, dreary days here in Northern Germany. And I love bright colours like the ones used for Lego bricks: red, yellow, blue, green, a rich pink....
Hi, Diane, my favorite times of year are spring and fall because I like the cool, sunny air. It gets really hot here in summer so it is not my favorite but I do like my daughter home from school. My favorite colors are red and pink. I wear different tennis shoes everyday and they are all pink so is most of my shirts. I do not know why I started that a few years ago but cannot seem to stop. Had a bit of a dud start to the morning but got there! It helps me to split the morning routine into two - one short list to do before nursery run and another list to do when I come back home. I wanted to do the morning routine, but I've found that I can't do the morning routine effectively till I get the bedtime routine down first. I've always had trouble with my bedtime routine. I get distracted so easily at the end of the day. Thank you for doing what you do. I wish I had had a mentor like you and like Flylady in general years ago.

It´s five minutes past ten and I have just finished my evening routine, ready for bed. Go me! I love the swedish summer, it's not to hot like in Germany where I come from. I've spent probably close to 2 months cleaning, throwing stuff out, and making little repairs. Day 3 Accountability check in: up and moving - met my goal for the day of getting up AND putting one foot in front of the other. Yay me! Proud of myself for two reasons, one of which is my mental outlook has greatly improved because I am the boss of me today 😜; and the other is that my night was troubled and I was sure I wouldn’t even be awake by now, let alone on top of this daily challenge. Thanks again. Ah, and my routine IS done, setting me up for electricians coming in to install new power for my new range. Timing for bulk of day will show itself as the day goes on. Evening routine ✅ my favourite season is Autumn. I enjoy birdwatching and here in Orkney that is when all the migrant birds arrive. My favourite colours are berry tones, raspberry reds through to pinky plums.

Fall is my favorite season and I like cozy flannel shirts and bonfires. Unfortunately here in the Midwest of the United States our Fall/Autumn isn’t nearly long enough. We have every season where I live which is nice but near St.Louis where I live we can go from winter to summer overnight. Lol my colors are green (Bright turquoise) or blue (royal blue).

Today is the 1st day of the 7 day challenge. I’m starting to feel better. But must rest still. My weakest area is the laundry. Oh I get it washed but always end up with fold and put away. And it becomes my clean Mountwashmore. Piles up high in my ikea pohang chair. I did it last week and used the timer. 10 min at a time. Altogether it took 3 10 min sessions and was all put away.. I have it built up in my head I just don’t have time my cupboards have space But DH His are full. How can I encourage him to purge he doesn’t want me to do it. Hello Diane and Flybabies.. Another great day.. Did my morning routine.. Yesterday, took old food from my pantry and took it to Walmart as they donate it to the Salvation Army.. Its hard for me to let go like paper clutter clothes etc.., so Im straigtening my closet shoes and cleaning table more.. hard for me to pick my clothes out.. Want to do meal planning going for a walk later.. Hotspots....want to clean fridge out soon, My favorite season is Late Spring May 18- to August 18.. Love the beach walks biking Need an AC though....I like black wear lots of black /..PS I want to wear Spring colors to add more life HUGS!!!!

My morning routine begins at 6 am, when both my husband and I wake up to workout for 30-50 minutes before showering, getting dressed, and having breakfast. A load of laundry is then thrown in the wash, breakfast dishes are washed, and the table is cleared. By 8:30 I'm totally done with my morning routine and can then get my son ready for his therapy that starts at 9 (it's in our home). We spend any time remaining before his therapist arrives working on our homeschooling tasks. Then when she gets here, I start on my to do list for the day.
My favorite season is spring because all of the flowers that bloom as well as the powerful thunderstorms we experience here in North Texas. My favorite color is green.
Thank you for another great video. I'm working on my morning routine because I'm home all day. I'm an early riser, sometimes too early because my fibromyalgia will wake me up. Somemornings like today, I wake up at 3:30 or 4 and need to climb in a hot tub just to move. Then I sit on the couch and do what I need to do on the computer. My alarm goes off at 5:30 a.m. and that's when I start my day officially. I dress to shoes and then feed the dogs and give the diabetic one his insulin. When they're done I make myself a protein smoothie, take my meds and get started. Doesn't take me more than 45 minutes even with breaks in between. Love starting the day with the house clean!
My favorite season is also Spring for the same reasons. As for a favorite color, I really don't have one. I like purple and green and yellow. Bright colors, I guess. Cheery ones.

Hi Diane! I love watching you every time! :-) And I love how you are always so put together and stylish! So evening routine DONE, very basic, I am expecting only 4 steps from myself (2 min before bed hotspot, prepare outfit, get ready for bed/unwind, go to bed at decent hour..+ bonus 5th shining my sink also done but not mandatory for me) I do realize that the "trick" would be to do all this a lot earlier than my actual bed time when I am too exhausted for anything, but it's not always an option. Favorite time of the year, whenever there is SUN - LIGHT and WARMTH so Summer-Spring-Autumn (and some nice crisp sunny winter days) Summer is probably my favorite because it is full blown Sun/Heat and I love how everything slows down, especially those days where the city is a desert and it seems surreal...like ghost towns...everything is still, times seems to stop, and you feel like you have all the time for everything (which is just an illusion of course) there is mostly silence and I feel Nature's presence as overpowering in a good way...Spring is renewal, possibility, freshness, colors perfumes flowers the shedding of all that is stale...autumn are more colors of nature, wood and trees, a symbol of change and new beginnings, it's still for me the real beginning of the "year" since school time, fresh new notebooks and pencils... I don't have a favorite color, it changes with the shade and hue and if it is a color to wear or a color for the house or other...ciao bella a domani!

Thank you thank you thank you so much Flylady Diane for saying this about not to worry too much re time of day morning routine is done by! Seriously. This has been a big thing for me. There have been days when I haven't gotten my routine done until afternoon, and been too embarrassed about it to say anything. There have also been days when if I didn't get it done early enough in my book, I haven't done the morning routine at all, because I felt like I missed the window or whatever. And other days that I do the minimum AM routine but not the full routine (I have my ideal AM routine and then versions where I do less).
We have four kids, and I'm home with 3 of them now and maybe I'm letting that be an excuse, but maybe I really am legitimately busy after all. Your words have liberated me from feeling bad about myself not getting it 'right' by finishing my AM routine at a certain time. Bless you.
Oh and my favorite time of year is Fall and favorite color is hard to say. I like a few and can't decide. Red has always been a favorite, but I love turqoise and teal and Tiffany blue as well. Also grey. Heck, also dark greens, like hunter green, emerald green... xo

Dressing to shoes and shining my sink comes easy. It is the swish and swipe that is a bit more difficult. But I will get onto it. My favourite season is also spring and I am also a spring !! I am so happy you mentioned the timer yesterday. My problem with routines is in the evening. Keeping this in mind last evening I started out just ten minutes earlier, but moved quicker that a slug, which is what I normally do, and I felt like okay I can get this done and get to bed early, and I did it. I have managed to have a shiny sink in the evenings, and pickup things in 5 minutes, but the taking the time to properly get ready for bed has not happened. Until last night, and what a good feeling it was. Since I had this all shut down for the night I can share that my favorite movie is McClintock with John Wayne. I first saw it in a theater and have watched it every year during the holidays ever since it has been available. My boys, now 35 and 33 still watch it with their families. My favorite smell is being in the mountains after a rain shower. Fresh and clean. Needless to say I am a cowgirl!! Yes, I love nature but the house needs are being met now thanks to the 31 babysteps and this system. Go you!!!!
I'm doing great on my morning routine. My evening routine is what I am working on for this challenge and I am struggling with the room rescue for 5 mins, for whatever reason it overwhelms me, I think I am just going to take it off my routine but it can be something I can do if I want to. Keeping it simple. My favorite season is Summer, I love BBq's , camping, swimming, sleeping a little later because kids are out of school and I actually work at a school, Vacation Bible school, summer camps, Lots of fun stuff.

Good morning! Yesterday I was sluggish but I did it but not done well. Today seems better. I keep my sink clean even though I had three different breakfasts going. Sink done, bed done, going for the shower now off to a late start. My favorite color is aqua and my favorite time is fall although I love spring and it is so refreshing. Fall also is refreshing with the coolness in the air after the hot summer days. Kids going back to school, fresh baking, apple picking, it all feels so exciting. The color changes of leaves in Michigan are magnificent! It is exciting although winter is creeping in. I love the reds, oranges, and yellow of fall.
I love Spring because everything comes to life...but I love the fall for the crisp air and the color changes on the leaves!

I'm working on my evening routine as well as the morning routine. I'm very proud to say that both are going on well. You're right, you know, when you say that if you take 4 hrs, it will take you 4 hrs or more! When I have to wake up earlier than my usual time, I have 30 minutes to get prepared: exercise, shower, dress to shoes, out the door - the balance of the routine will be done when I come back. My favorite season is the fall (here it's Sept/Oct). I love to dress up warmly and bring down the windows in the car. Ha! the difference in temp is wow, so refreshing. My favorite colors are bright red and ocean blue. Nicole
Great advice, I came in from a night shift , showered and cleaned my teeth swished and swiped my loo and sink , came down received my online grocery shop ,put it away , hung out my load of washing that I had set on a timer overnight . Then went to bed . It's true what you say, just crossing it off helps . I'm usually the type if I can't do it 'properly ' I give up . So I make sure I take each day at a time now and it works for me brilliantly . Thanks Diane for your time:)

My favourite season is spring . I love seeing the first sign of new flowers coming up and the blossom on the trees . My favourite colour is purple . I used the stop watch setting today and my morning routine took an hour and a half which includes taking the dog around the block . I love your videos and it's like you're talking right to me sometimes, days 1 and 2 were definitely more motivating! But I'm glad you mentioned not to worry about the time I finish, as I have two very young ones at home and I found that trying to finish my morning routines by a certain time (or in a certain amount of time) was actually giving me more stress. I have all kinds of interruptions that come in different times of the day, whether I can't start making the bed because the baby is still sleeping, to deciding not to shower until they nap, etc etc. Doing it all before anyone wakes up isn't ideal since I try to get as much sleep as I can, plus we usually have a morning nursing session, getting daughter off to school. It's really...really hard to get things done with this age, and I know they are more important than any routine, so thank you for making it ok for me to not have to be finished by 8, 9, even 11am.
Oh, and its a toss between spring and fall, and blue!

Sink is always shiny at the moment and kitchen sides clear. Morning routine is easier after setting the alarm 15 mins earlier. But not quite got a sense of the full week / months plans so need to do more FlyLady reading and figure it out.
Hate snow and cold so my favourite season is spring when we leave that dark horrible weather behind and there is colour and light again.

Hello, I finished my morning routine. I will take heed of your suggestion to use a timer to get a true idea of how long it takes to do my routine and as well to keep me focused. My favourite time of the year is spring, and my favourite colour at present is teal blue.
Don’t know if you go back and read comments attached to older videos, but I am working on a 7-day challenge to get my bahookie out of bed (which means fully awake and functioning) by 6:30 each morning. I am usually conscious by 5:45 or 6:00, but functioning is where I need to work. Once up, I have no trouble with dressing, bed made, breakfast, LOL, etc., but actually establishing a time habit has been eluding me. Day 1 down, yay, go me. I just watched your day 2 video, and I’m gonna cheer a little and say I love the smell of orange and ginger from a Bath and Body Works line called Energy. That seems to be just what I need to get me moving. In candles, body wash, and lotion. So glad a friend gave me some as a gift. And fav movie: Paul Newman and Robert Redford...just about anything they ever did together...their timing and chemistry are perfect. And I did like Ant Man which my son suggested.

My morning routine, day three done - go me. Favorite season: Fall. Favorite color: this is a tough one, I have to pick two - royal blue or purple! Reason Fall is my favorite season: I live in the oppressive, intolerable heat and humidity of the southern United States from April through October, so the first cool non-humid weather in the Fall is divine, it makes me feel so energized. Plus, my birthday is in October, so that's another reason to have it be my favorite. Ha.

This is the most recent comment in one year! I feel that this is a Brand New Video for me so I will post. I WATCHED ALL of the 31 Days of Baby Steps. Yes! I was one of those who you warned about. I wanted to watch all of them so that I could see what I was getting into. I was a fly baby years ago, and I fluttered quite a bit. However, I have deviated and my best routine was not having one! Not good! I'm a Messy. I love Clean...but I'm messy. We are Snowbirds for 5 months. It's a good thing that I love to leave the house clean, so that when I get back I can just unpack. Because we had some out of town guests that needed to stay at our house while we were away.No problem. So thankful it was clean and organized. HOWEVER, when we returned and I began unpacking and trying to incorporate ALL the things I had brought back I had a big mess! It was as if a Tornado came through!..I BINGE watched your videos until I finally was motivated to get up and moving! I have made my control journal and set some routines, and am in my 3rd day of following ALL of my morning routines. BABY STEPS. I've also added Decluttering, and the Home Blessing to Monday. I used to have problems with my morning routine, but then I deceided to do the swish and swipe as part of my before-bed-routine and it works much better for me. I actually love every season, but I could do without the months of November and February - usually just a row of grey, dreary days here in Northern Germany. And I love bright colours like the ones used for Lego bricks: red, yellow, blue, green, a rich pink....

Hi, Diane, my favorite times of year are spring and fall because I like the cool, sunny air. It gets really hot here in summer so it is not my favorite but I do like my daughter home from school. My favorite colors are red and pink. I wear different tennis shoes everyday and they are all pink so is most of my shirts. I do not know why I started that a few years ago but cannot seem to stop. I wanted to do the morning routine, but I've found that I can't do the morning routine effectively till I get the bedtime routine down first. I've always had trouble with my bedtime routine. I get distracted so easily at the end of the day. Thank you for doing what you do. I wish I had had a mentor like you and like Flylady in general years ago.

I've gotten behind watching but I've kept my house up. I'm getting ready to do my morning routine and listen to the rest of the days. I do a spring clean every year. I've spent probably close to 2 months cleaning, throwing stuff out, and making little repairs. Every year I tell myself, OK I'm going to stay on top of this so next year I won't have to spend the 2 months doing everything. I can semi stay on top of it but never completely. Proud of myself for two reasons, one of which is my mental outlook has greatly improved because I am the boss of me today 😜; and the other is that my night was troubled and I was sure I wouldn’t even be awake by now, let alone on top of this daily challenge. Fall is my favorite season and I like cozy flannel shirts and bonfires. Unfortunately here in the Midwest of the United States our Fall/Autumn isn’t nearly long enough. We have every season where I live which is nice but near St.Louis where I live we can go from winter to summer overnight. Lol my colors are green (Bright turquoise) or blue (royal blue).

Today is the 1st day of the 7 day challenge. I’m starting to feel better. But must rest still. My weakest area is the laundry. Oh I get it washed but always end up with fold and put away. And it becomes my clean Mountwashmore. Piles up high in my ikea pohang chair. I did it last week and used the timer. 10 min at a time. Altogether it took 3 10 min sessions and was all put away.. I have it built up in my head I just don’t have time my cupboards have space But DH His are full. How can I encourage him to purge he doesn’t want me to do it. Hello Diane and Flybabies.. Another great day.. Did my morning routine.. Yesterday, took old food from my pantry and took it to Walmart as they donate it to the Salvation Army.. Its hard for me to let go like paper clutter clothes etc.., so Im straigtening my closet shoes and cleaning table more.. hard for me to pick my clothes out.. Want to do meal planning going for a walk later.. Hotspots....want to clean fridge out soon, My favorite season is Late Spring May 18- to August 18.. Love the beach walks biking Need an AC though....I like black wear lots of black /..PS I want to wear Spring colors to add more life HUGS!!!!

kelly mckay I feel the same as you. I have lots of goals but I get distracted by so many things that I end up not getting one thing done!
