Lobos is Spanish for "The Wolves," oh, and I think the main reason you see more team names in the U.S. is because American football fields have a large "end zone," (where touchdowns are scored), and it's just an big empty area, so it gives them a place to put their team name, unlike in soccer where the entire field is actually used. You won't really find it in soccer and baseball stadiums -- mainly American football.
haha my first thought was luxembourg city in that round. the bike lanes being close to belgium makes sense, and i know they have a high GDP there so everything looking nice and clean makes sense too for that
I think the word you are looking for when a river has a lot of bends like the first one is meander or meanders. Can also be used when roads have a lot curves coming down a mountain for example
I didn't play these games myself, but I guessed along with you while watching the video (and occasionally stopping it before you could reveal the answer). In this mode, I could immediately recognize Moscow, Rome and Luxembourg, also Milan was clear after you zoomed in to the castle.
My God at 9:24 you zoomed into a football field that is in Assago and I played for the Assago team and of course I played on that actual field. Also, as I live just to the left of where this map stops I drive through that area often. Never thought to see that in a video ahah PS the two airports you see (Linate the bigger one and Bresso the other) are the smaller in the city, outside the city we have Malpensa (the second biggest in Italy) and Bergamo
Tip from someone from the US, a lot of large cities in the USA, especially in the center of the country (Omaha, Oklahoma city, Kansas City, ect.) will have a few skyscrapers or a downtown bisected or bordered by a highway and will be considerably smaller compared to its suburbs. I think there are similar places in other countries, but the USA is the first place that comes to mind. I instantly recognized the southwest USA because of the small downtown compared to the suburbs.
Positively surprised you immediately recognized the Vatican. Me tbh thought the first one was Rome, even thought I got a quick glimpse of the Colosseum...
@@paulmcgowan2250 it was the 1980 Olympic arena for basketball and boxing. Closed 2019, demolished 2020. I reckon they were halfway demolishing it when the shot was taken.
If I’m honest, I was hoping you would spend a little bit more time working on Calgary just cause I got it in the first second after having lived there for a bit I want to see your thought process. Stadium is too much of a giveaway in North America.
Luxembourg looked too clean, very nice infrastructure and all of it was very eyepleasing. Love these satellite view videos Peter.
Many thanks! 😊
That 3D effect on game 2 round 1 really tickled my brain!
PLLEEEAAASSSEEE do these cities satellite view more
I love these soooo much

lol I was practically screaming at my screen during Moscow, if you looked in the city center at all, you probably would’ve made Red Square out easily
Love these satellite videos, Peter !
Havent watched the video at all yet but already know that the thumbnail is Bergen! What a city!
When you said "it feels like the Netherlands but hilly" Luxembourg immediately came to mind

Thanks for the tip! :)
English word-- the word for the bends rivers make are "meanders" so that river was very meander-y as id say lol
Greetings from ... Bergen. I did get Lux after four seconds. I helps to have been there. ;-)
Haha, good job!
i am from Brașov. that mountain is called Tampa
Very cool game! I never would have thought South Africa. Very nice.
What a surprise, the only place he recognised instantly was St Peters Basilica.
I knew it was Milan after I spotted world famous San Siro stadium with recognisable red girders.

It's maybe a little unfair, since I have a holiday house there. You're always welcome
