@@xaikken I think ultimately Joe is a guided-hunt/sleep-in-a-lodge kind of guy, and trekking down to a jungle village to drink a mystery potion, which has up until the last decade or so been the way to have a real Ayahuasca experience, doesn't seem like Joe's bag. Much easier to smoke DMT at a buddy's house after a set at a comedy club...

Was on Oxy's for 9yrs,.. took a heroic dose of shrooms,. and the universe told me to get my life together, or i would be in a dark despair that i felt to my soul. I went cold turkey on the pills, got dopesick for 4days using vodka as a crutch. Then i quit drinking,. then I quit sugar, processed foods, and now eat only protein, fruits and low carbs. I meditate, float, workout with kettlebells and do yoga and breathing exercises.
I still take psychedelics and use weed products,... but my life is 100x better than it was,.. All thanks to mushies! ~EDIT~ Thank you everyone for all the kind words and shared stories!!!~

I saw Thoth, ancient gods, cats, flowers, the matrix grid, light, myy dna codes and symbols...until the 3rd cup, i left my bod thought i was dead and had a panic attack but even that was teaching me . I went to work 2 days later(hadn't told anyone) like flys to a light bulb everyone was drawn to me telling me how good I look, asking me if I had boxot! The Vernal Equinox of 2030, marks the BEGINNING of the 3rd, 1000-year Days of Heaven, since Jesus was crucified in the year we now call 30 AD. It brings the fulfilment of the resurrection (John 16: 7-15 & 33) and final judgement for the devil and dragon (Daniel 7: 9-14). But we have been told SOONER.
09/23/26 is exactly 3.5 years sooner. It's the autumn equinox of the US' and the illuminati's 250th year. 10/12/26 is 42 moons sooner. There will be an Epochal Eclipse a CROSS the US on April 8th 2024, when more shall be revealed to those with "eyes and ears." The rest will see only an eclipse.

I've been on and off drinking, recently taking another break because every time I stop it's because I've drank myself into an atrocious darkness. I'm grateful that I've been able to succeed on my own, but I think a big part of my success has been that I took relatively small amounts of LSD for a week straight, and the consistant buzzed feeling helped with the withdrawls and cravings for alcohol. I've got some undiagnosed and untreated mental health issues, too, and psychadelics have really helped taking the cutting edge off of them. I probably still need standard treatments but it's nice to be able to sort of cope on my own.

that was easily one of the best joe rogan clips ive ever watched in my life. ive been in a similar situation (just at rehab no iowaska) but the people i met there and the conversations we had felt like i was meant to be there like he said. It felt like a big sigh of relief after one of the longest and darkest periods of my life. I'm sure coming off hard drugs had a lot to do with it, but being around people who are focused on your needs and don't judge you is so helpful in every way. i wish we had more access to places like these without having to get to such a bad place to begin with. i wish more places were like that in general. Just beautiful spoken by this man i heard joe say this conversation was great but i had little to no knowledge of who ron white was and im very glad i got here from the theo von iowaska clip im definitely going to listen to this episode now. the way he described it brought me right back to smoking cigs late at night out by the fire all going through a similar journey that we could to relate to eachother with while being on completely different ends of every walk of life. it was beautiful and really helpful to teleport back there for a moment the day after my childhood pet passed away and that blackness is having another go at me as we speak. very much appreciated i think i will return to this video periodically and if you read this whole comment i appreciate you thank you for being interested enough to read what i have to say. you can do hard things. we all can. together.

@Darren It’s totally ok to have your own opinions on the subject. I just don’t understand why someone feels they have to crap all over other peoples attempts of enlightenment or spirituality. I’ve personally never had the opportunity to take psychedelics, so I feel I couldn’t agree or disagree with your opinion on the matter. Everyone has their own road to travel. Who am I to criticize or critique someone else’s chosen path to enlightenment? That being said, I do feel your comment is uncalled for and unnecessary. Again, everyone has their own road to travel. How they personally choose to travel, what medium they choose to entertain if any, and what direction their journey takes them is theirs to choose and theirs alone. If they choose prayer in order to communicate with their chosen God, more power to them. If it’s more of an inner conflict, to find themselves or to find purpose, maybe it takes the form of specific psychedelics. Our personal perspectives on any number of topics are as varied as our fingerprints and DNA.
It was the “BS” part of your reply that rubbed me the wrong way. As much as you are entitled to your own opinions on this or any given subject, and you are entitled to have one, I still feel it’s wrong to call “BS” when referring to aspects of someone else’s personal preferences of spirituality. I mean, yeah, you can say his choice was bullshit. But your opinions on the matter don’t carry anymore weight or value that his does about yours. It holds as much value as mine does. Which is to say, my opinions about your opinions don’t matter to you. I just thought that it was pretty vain and self righteous to call bullshit on someone else’s spirituality.

Totally. I've heard many Aya trip reports, but most them are from people within the psychedelic/spiritual community, so it's always awesome to hear from people like Ron and even Mike Tyson

@@fractallusion7121 that’s exactly what’s beautiful about it, not just a generational/age thing but rather to hear it from somebody who we wouldn’t necessarily expect to be “the type”

Good for you Ron. Alcoholism and or addiction are extremely hard to overcome. Although there is no cure quality of life improves more and more as time passes. I know I've been clean myself since April of 2013.

Well done 👍, there is a cure though , it’s completely healing the wounded child within .
It’s hard work , but worth the journey to rewrite the traumatized mind .
Search dr. Gabor mate , he has some great insights into healing.

      Yeah, everyone says that.
The issue is, the people who overuse them, and do odd things (but are happy to do odd things) because they are intoxicated and did not use moderation (moderation is key to this topic, i know this well).
This is the issue and why it is banned in many areas... people love to say this and promote it, but they will not defend the public who sees the odd behavior of people who are "druggies" and overuse every single thing they can get their hands on (I grow herb and know all about myco products, im not bashing just trying to bring education to the medicine and moderation legalization for natural plants that are banned and should NOT be)

Really interesting to see his transformation. On past episodes, Ron gave off a mean vibe, but there's none of that here. At the end, he even managed to smile and to look rather happy.
