I remember when these commercials came out around the 2009 playoffs. Everybody wanted Kobe and Lebron to meet in the Finals that year. Sadly we ended up getting Dwight Howard vs. Kobe in a very one-sided series.
***** Yeah I agree, that was the year we should have seen Kobe vs Lebron in the finals. Sure Orlando deserved their place, but it would have been great to see those two meet in the finals.
Y'all need to remember Courtney lee missed that game winning layup that ended in a lakers overtime win and when jameer Nelson let fisher send the game to overtime with the 3 pointer. It wasn't too one sided even though that may sound stupid since it was a 5 game series
AND I believe Kevin Garnett was injured and didn't play in the playoffs in 2009. Had he been around it would have been 3 straight finals with the lakers and celtics. Too bad that didn't happen, Lebron will go down as a great player but he has a bad finals resume.
Lakers would have probably taken out Cleveland in 5 or 6 games if they met in '09 but there's no telling who would have had the advantage if they played Boston in '09.
+Afrobe Bryant Lebron is kinda like Peyton Manning. Even though he doesn't really choke in the playoffs, he just doesn't have a lot of rings. But most of it is not really his fault.
